Who Wants To Make A Comic? v.3
 

The idea of this thread dates back to 2006 when T-nex created the original version of WWTMAC. The basic concept is that approximately 6 members (usually ends up being more) make the frames of a whole comic, but there are some rules, of course.

Splat allowed that the rules he wrote last time shall be posted here again.

To sum it up:
Step 1) You receive a frame from the person preceding you (if you're the first on the list, this will not happen, don't get confused).
Step 2) You draw a new frame which logically (or less so) follows the previous frame (the one you received from the person before you).
Step 3) You send your finished frame to the next person on the list, and to me (if you're the last person on the list, you send it only to me).
Step 4) You feel proud that you could understand the rules and carried out the task accordingly.

Now, the theme mentioned before is the word I randomly choose, and which is a sort of guideline for the first person on the list to start off. In this case, I randomly stopped a song without listening, and started it while listening.

And the word I first heard was: hot.

So, first person on the list, you should form your frame around this word. Should be easy to do, there are no other restrictions.

2nd Edit: Ok definetly 1st. I have a awesome rough draft for the idea already. Just need to get a bigger piece of paper......Question --- Is it OK if I use printer paper? I mean is that big enough?

Not advised, spontaneity for the win. Besides, as I remember it, the first person doesn't get to choose what the comic is about, the theme (eg. 'whistling') is determined by the WWTMAC master after all spaces are filled.

Well yeah, I took care of the theme when I made the thread.

Gave you position 5 originally, Stone, but I'll edit it to first. It doesn't matter what sort of paper you use, as long as the picture you send forward as the final version does not exceed the size limit (1000x1000 pixels).

OK. And carnix, it is Dripik's theme "hot". And plus I just felt like doodling something yesterday.

I'll join. Set me up for the last panel, if possible. I'll be sure not to ruin it.

I was thinking of entering in wars of the art. Then I realized I wasn’t bothered. But only drawing one frame doesn't sound so bad. So sign me up!

Well, Splat, I take it you'll pass the opportunity to MoxCo. If yes, stonetooth should begin drawing (if not already done), and send the frame to Meech and me. I should note that I won't be online next week 'till Saturday, so don't expect a quick reply.

I hope everything is clear, but I'm sure Splat or T-Nex (if she's around) will answer any questions about this.

Well, I was waiting for Splat to object for position 5, but it seems I'll have to give that to MoxCo. Also, I think an additional position for Abeguy is alright. That is, position 6, since Kastere asked for the last one.

OK then, I should have it done by the end of next week, maybe earlier, but that all depends on if I can find a scanner. :P I may have to use the one at "my church". Gah.

YAY! My printer/scanner/fax machine/giant-robot-in-disguise has just broken! Ill try fixing it or getting a new one b4 the pic gets to me.

Well my picture is going to be done by the end of the week, and I don't know how long the other people before you are going to take, but i'm sure you have a good amount of time to get it fixed.
