I demand an Uncle's Day. I'm the one that get punched in the kidneys by the kid.

I helped my nephew write the card. We made fun of my brother in it (in a nice way, of course). Doesn't sound so creative or hilarious, but there was an inside joke that none of you would get, which both me and my nephew found hilarious.

I got my dad a set of 1/2" socket wrench extensions. Somehow all of them disppeared from his tool box and it wasn't me this time!

I bought my Dad...a big box of After Eights and roll on Lynx deoderant

i got my dad the Michael Mcintyre standup DVD and a book on the history of beer.

the card was related to going bald, which is a bit unnecessary seeing as he isnt bald or balding. i'm just preparing him for the inevitable.

I took a piss in my dads honour, then I flushed.

I called, but won't see him until the end of the week. Thus, I still have time to choose a gift! I'm torn between a black t-shirt with the advertisement "0800-DADS-A-CAB, No hour too late, no distance too far!" and a grey one with the slogan "Back in The Day, Dad was a real ladies' man!"

I'll probably follow it up with a CD or something.

Ooh, I thought Britain had a Father’s Day on a different day to the U.S. Must just be Mother’s Day.

I got my Dad a card but didn’t give it to him. He doesn’t care. I got my Granddad a card, but I gave him it.

this is the opposite of what the topic is, but for mothers day i gave my mom a card and she found it offensive and got mad.

And Mother's Day in May, which is handy for my family because my Dad's birthday is in the first half of the year and mum's the second half, so their respective celebrations are well spaced out.

Though we don't actually do all that much. Traditionally we take dad out to dinner somewhere and forget to bring our wallets so that he has to pay anyway. And for mum we generally make scones, jam and cream.

I fully support OddjobAbe's Uncle Day concept. Even if I'm still not an uncle. Damn sister and her comfortable uterus. That baby was due to pop out a week and a half ago

Shit, I totally forgot to send my Dad any kind of condolence at all. That's okay though. I'm sure it evens out with the sixteen years of zero child support.
