A little question...
...about Hand of Odd. Why did OWI give up the plan?
|
It was going to use the Munch’s Oddysee game engine (A.L.I.V.E. 2), which ended up being a lot less powerful/awesome than they wanted, as we all know. It wouldn’t have supported Hand of Odd.
And after MO, the first thing OWI wanted to do was release an Munch’s Oddysee to make up for all the gameplay and story that MO was missing. But at some point Lorne changed his mind and wanted to do something not involving the more familiar characters and being a lot more in line with the modern popular gaming experience. |
The first thing I thought when I saw Hand of Odd's pics was that its graphic looked like the old Munch's Oddysee (for PS2)... am I wrong?
|
No you are not, it was supposed to use the same engine they were going to use for MO...
|
So the Farietales and Habitales series are pratically dead before they were born... have you ever interviewed Lorne Lanning about Hand of Odd or Habitales/Farietales series?

(Back from my long in-activeness)
Hand of Odd would have been a pretty cool game, but at the same time be a little weird considering the engine MO had. |
Wow! We can all learn from you.
