Differences Between The PSone Version And PC?

I've been noticing a few little things while playing AO on the PSone, particularly the cutscenes seem a bit...choppy? I recall them looking better on the PC but I haven't been able to play it on the PC for years so I'm probably wrong.

Second I noticed that the fireflies have different messages or at least shorter ones in the PSone version but I'm going off memory so I may be wrong. I recall the firefly message on the PC version where you have to make that huge jump in the Mosaic Lines is 'Leap of faith' while on the PSone it's just 'Leap'

I may be wrong about this but I thought I might as well bring it up anyway! :fuzconf:

Why do you always post threads in Oddworld Help that aren't asking for help?

Apologies, I thought that was the better place to put it.

My cutscenes are fine on the PSP. Load times and pre-cutscene times vary but it never lags. I think my AO copy keeps freezing at the final cutscene though. (when lightning strikes)

The firefly message in Monsaic Lines on the PS1 does indeed say 'Leap of Faith', and I will pull out my copy of Abe's Oddysee in a minute to double check that. However, I perfectly recall it saying Leap of Faith.
Never had any troubles with cutscenes on the PS1, except for one that jumps, however that is probably due to it being a second hand ans slightly scratched disk

EDIT: It does indeed say 'Leap of Faith' in Monsaic Lines. It says it one word at a time though so you have to keep chanting to hear the whole message

I've only played the PC version of Abe's Exoddus, but not much of it, so the only differences I have gone through so far are the different looking levers, the different sound for the secret areas and the fact I cannot become invincible for casual runthroughs.

Strange, mine does not say leap of faith at all. Yes I did wait word for word but it didn't happen
