= The Rider =

As we approached the final jump, I pulled back hard on the reigns. I made my mount jump over the ivy fence. Another rider wasn't so lucky and got himself tangled in the ivy. My saddle buckled as we fell back to the ground. It took almost every ounce of my strength just to stay on my mount.

We were getting really close to the finish line. I knelt down, my visor was next to his ear. "Come on Rakki, we can win... Just one final sprint, okay?". As if Rakki could understand me, his speed increased... he was almost catching up to the Bulleta.

We came closer and closer, we overtook him and crossed the finish line a fraction of a second beforehand. Thanks to that we won the race. The whole crowd was cheering. I wiped a hand over my visor and went over to the stables. I picked up a piece of meat and gave it to Rakki. Rakki chomped on the meat and smiled. His red beak shining in the sunlight. As I climbed into my bed, I only had one final thought; "I love the Scrab races!".

= The Passenger =

Our flight was meant to be taking us directly to the HubBlub factory, but there was a slight delay. The pilot spoke, "We are currently suffering a little turbulence due to an electrical storm... hopefully it will pass soon". I sigh and decide to fall asleep to pass the time.

It must have been hours before I woke up. When I did, I couldn't see the interior of an airplane, but a wrecked plane... surrounded by flames. We were on some kind of island... it was hard to keep my Slig pants stable on this sand.

It seemed that most of the passengers were trying to get out of the plane. The pilot and the co-pilot were helping people out of the plane as best as they could. I saw something on the wreckage, a small black device... the remaining parts of an exploded bomb. Who would do such a thing?
