new 360 game trailers released

Theres some really good looking trailers on the marketplace now, which were released yesterday due to this e3 event kicking off.
The best ones which i like the look of are left 4 dead 2,the long awaited splinter cell conviction, halo3 ODST gameplay trailer and a crackdown 2 trailer. O and of course modern warfare 2 but thats been out a little while longer.
I also found a new assassins creed 2 trailer which is not on the marketplace at this moment in time, which can be found here

L4D has only been out for about...6 months at the most, why the hell are Valve doing that?

True, but this is coming out in November. I'd wager it's going to be downloadable on the 360 and PS3, but I'm still going to buy it for some kind of All-Frying Pans hard-mode fiesta with OANST.

Splinter Cell Conviction has me the most excited.

Fuzzle King 06-03-2009 08:40 AM

Yes same here, it looks awesome.

The Halo: Reach teaser brought a tear to my eye. Because of what was happening, not because I wanted it badly.

Found a assassins creed 2 gameplay trailer, this looks incredible:

Ah, Bungie.

*milk milk milk*

Daxter King 06-03-2009 04:48 PM

I think you people need to look up the term milk.

Hobo 06-03-2009 05:57 PM

No, I think you need to look up the term "fanboy"

Daxter King 06-03-2009 08:56 PM

Milking is it being the same game over and over, with no real demand for it, and usually is passed on to a different studio to chug them out faster. Guitar Hero and CoD are being milked, Halo is not.

Nate 06-03-2009 09:16 PM

Milking is about making very similar games over and over again because there is a huge fanboy demand for something... anything new without requiring quality or innovation.

Mac Sirloin 06-03-2009 09:16 PM

Guitar Hero adds new features and songs with each game.

By your definition, CoD 4 and CoD for PS1 are exactly the same with with prettier graphics on the former, which happens to be astoundingly retarded.

Bungie has:
Pulled Halo 2 in half, forcing us to wait for the remarkably bland Halo 3.
Added nothing original or innovative to the FPS genre across 3 games.
Created a legion of rabid fantards (not pointing fingers) that ridicule anyone who doesn't think that Halo is the second coming.

I believe CoD has been praised for introducing new standards in graphics, gameplay and storytelling at least three times. All Halo ever managed to do aside from creating a nice story, which was told for 50% in novels no-one read, was add 'dual wielding' to Halo 2. ZOMG REVOLUTIONARY.

I notice two errors in this post, one of them involves reviewers who obviously have no idea what constitutes good storytelling in a computer game and one of them involves judging canon by EU.

Not that I'm a Halo fan myself, mind.

Havoc 06-04-2009 03:38 PM

I believe good storytelling is still a matter of taste, so debate all you want. I personally thought the way the story was told in CoD 4, which is the only CoD game I've played, was damn good and original. As for your second point, I have no idea what you're talking about.
