Is oddworld inhabitants ever comming back to game industry?
 

Hello everyone...I am a big fan of Oddworld Inhabitants. I miss their games and originality , Oddworld Stranger's Wrath was amazing.

What is currently going on with OWI? I know their website says "Coming Soon" but are they ever going back to making Oddworld games?

in short there creating a CG movie called citizen seige and there may be another game coming along, we should find this out soon actually.

Nah, they're bound to include Abe in at least one more project of some form before something happens and OWI is no more. Well, that's what I belive anyways. I just don't see them not coming out with at least ONE more Oddworld related project, especially with all the projects we've heard about in the past however long.

I hope so, its been so long. Plus will people really get back into Oddworld when/if it comes back?

Worst case scenario we get AO and AE released onto the XBL MArketplace and PSN. I would love this.

xbox has sonic the hedgehog for megadrive, but i suppose abe was for PS1 and is copyright by sony

The issue would be the cost of the converting the game to work on the Xbox360 and PS3. It would probably involve quite a bit of work.

I think that oddworld inhabitants will never make another game with abe in it... they kinda messed up with munche's oddysey, never played it but I've seen screenshots, and one of the screen shots is an advertisement for something called BUTT-FLOW, what the hell is BUTT-FLOW? oddworld was really only meant for 2-d I think. I would like them to make another game, but I doubt they well. but atleast we have some fan games :D

This is FRD all other again. The company is a turtle, spending most of it's time hidden in it's shell. Then it'll pop out to give us news and false hopes. And then, one day the website will be down and we'll never see the turtle agian.

No, Butt-Flo isn't even used in the game as anything except something the Vykkers advertise. Though, that would be an interesting use, I don't think it'd work. :fuzgrin:
