Anyone else plan on picking it up? Its a open world action game that focuses on you blowing shit up. The destruction engine is amazing and really is leaps and bounds ahead of anything like it. There is a single player and multiplayer demo on Xbox Live and PSN, highly recommend you try it out.

It's Saints Row 2 set in the distant future but with Geomod

Sweet fuck it was some fun.

Just beat it the other day, some of the missions get repetitive near the middle, but near the end they get really fun again. Walkers are awesome. Attacking the EDF base was one of my favorite levels this generation of consoles. Also it helps that the multiplayer is fuck awesome.

Just leaping around using satchel charges was kick-ass.

Does the Jetpack have to recharge or anything?

Yeah, but in SP you can buy an upgrade to make it recharge faster. The SP campaign also has cheats throughout that you unlock. Putting them all on and fighting the EDF is really fun. Super health, super jetpack, super hammer, etc. You can use up to 12 charges in the campaign, and one side mission has you destroy a building with one of them and like 30 trip mines. That was a fun one.
