Alector, BlueScrab, Freaky?
Having taken two years of high-school pidgin German, I thought I'd browse the "Abe's Homepage" site yesterday. It's got some nice stuff, but nothing really outstanding - except for a catalogue of Oddworld merchandise.
However, I couldn't quite understand the text at the bottom of the "Shop" page. My question is this: could any one of you read the page and tell me whether or not I can order those items in America? [ July 12, 2001: Message edited by: Oddomatic ] |

When you go to the site (Oddworld shop), you can see brown coffers, on the first coffer, you can order T-Shirts, on the second coffer SoulStormBrew, on the third coffer an Abe Statue (it's really expensive for the little figure!), on the fourth coffer Posters, and on the fifth coffer the game Exoddus with the signature from Lorne Lanning (ca. $125)! On every coffer are little caskets with a number in it. There you type the quantity (for example 3 bottles SoulStormB.) Then you go down, there is a formular, you must fill it (of course :rolleyes: ) Vorname= first name Nachname=last name Straße = street Plz/ Ort= Postal code/ location Land= country email.. just type your e-mail adress Geburtsdatum= birth date Bezahlung über..= payment via.. Then there comes: Bankeinzug= bank collection Vorauskasse= prepayment Nachname= per last name ________________________________________________ When you typed "Bankeinzug" or "Vorauskasse", you must fill in the next formular: Bankinstitut= Bank Bankleitzahl= Bank code Kontonummer = account number Kontoinhaber= account holder Then comes the sentence: Ich ermächtige maxupport, den Bestellwert von meinem Konto abzubuchen: Ja = [b] i authorize maxupport, the value of ordered goods debit a sum of my account : yes (<~~ is this sentence gOod so?) Then comes two buttons: Bestellen= order or Neueingabe= reentry The next text is about the forwarding expenses. After the order you'll receive an acceptance of order within the next 24 hours. The forwarding expenses for the foreign country costs ca. $7.50 and just results from the prepayment (Eurocheque). From a value of goods about $100 are the forwarding expenses free.
