Some stuff I drew.

Yeah. Just to warn you guys, my scanner is a peice of crap, so the quality is way down on a lot of these. If I can get better scans i'll replace the ones I put here. Also, seeing as how boobies are fun to draw and I don't know the rule of thumb round here, I've covered up any invading nipples. If you want to see them the way they are, PM me because I don't have a deviantart account or anthing. These are also of varying ages, so don't be surprised if the drawing quality jumps around. Oh, and they're all pretty big, so the first one's just a teaser so you'll click the rest.

Just a gryphon chick. Got bored on a plane.

A peice of concept art for the Joker, wanted to do him in my own style. it's a bit old, but I still like it.

The first of the drawings destroyed by the scan. She is a white minotaur, but there's a lot more shading in the real one.

Loney. No, he's not a werewolf, but he is supposed to look like one.

A winged crocodile. Don't even try to guess where this one came from.

A defiled preistess presenting a human captive. As you can see, i have a habit of leaving things unfinished.

This is a gigantoraptor. I do a lot of prehistoric reconstruction art, and he's one of my best. If you can't tell, i have somewhat of a fetish with drawing dewlaps.

Okay, this one's just some doodlings in protest to my friends whoredom in the place called sandpaints, where art has no real value. The little blackish dragon in the lower left is copyright to her, Akari.

That's it for now, I might have some oddworld art up soon, but probably not. Everything, even the stuff I neglected to put my signature on is mine. Steal my work and... well, I probably won't find out, but it's not cool anyway. I mean, there's plenty of better artists out there to infringe upon.

Those drawings are fine, although I would love to see one thats colored :)

Anyway my advice would be to try and draw other positions than the profile position(from the side).
Try some front-view or 1/3 view.
Although you drawing are nice, they can seem a bit too boring or static. So try and make it a bit more dynamic :) Maybe draw two creature fighting, or one that's running.
This is all just suggestions though, so please don't take any offense :)

SligCabaret 05-03-2009 12:54 PM

Oh, I know how static my art is. 1/3 veiw is a bitch. And no, I don't have any that are colored. Why? I suck at color. I gave it up a few years ago, I only fiddle with it sometimes. I appreciate the advice, but I kinda stick to my strengths, which is as a concept artist. I draw things the way they work, not the way they exist. That's not to say I don't try, i'm just not good with it.

T-nex 05-04-2009 12:47 PM

Well, I undestand... But I guess it's just in case you wish to pursue a job in the future that has to do with drawing, it's always a plus to be able to create more dynamic poses.. Specially as a concept artist..
I aim to be a concept artist, but I doubt my talent is big enough :p

...we seem to have a problem. I should dress and pose to match your sketch.

Wow, the anatomy is great and the designs are really creative. I really look forward to seeing more from you. :)

Also, don't be so reluctant about coloring. The only way you get better at something is if you do it more. I'm sure you know that, though.

SligCabaret 05-04-2009 09:12 PM

O.o

Dude. Don't do it. Don't dress up or I swear to god I will steal the picture and keep it forever.
You don't want to know how much of a thing I have for the Joker.

And yeah. I kno, let me get through life drawing and I'll post some recent stuff. I've got a great cthulhu waiting in the wings...
