Favorite Queen song?

At first I liked Under Pressure the most, but now I quite like Bohemian Rhapsody. I especially like the final verse :D

What do you think?

Anonyman! 04-30-2009 02:36 PM

IS THIS THE REAL LIFE
IS THIS JUST FANTASY

He seems gay but I LOVE his SONGS!!!!!!!

Bullet Magnet 04-30-2009 04:37 PM

How can I choose? Each one is like silky auditory sky-nectar.

Mac Sirloin 04-30-2009 07:25 PM

Queen is like being kicked in the balls by an angel.

No vote.

Bullet Magnet 04-30-2009 07:48 PM

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Hobo 05-01-2009 05:23 AM

Unless you edit the poll and list every Queen song they made I see no reason for this to be a thread.

Eating a burnt cookie is still eating a cookie.

This is my thread now? Hmmm? Yes?

AlexFili 05-01-2009 06:58 AM

1) It's not possible for me to do that
2) Most of the songs you have suggested are quite obscure and not their most popular songs

Wings of Fire 05-01-2009 12:13 PM

Popular != best, we've been through this Alex.

Nate 05-01-2009 04:53 PM

However popular = more likely to have heard of them and thus be able to provide an opinion.

SligCabaret 05-01-2009 10:46 PM

What, no flash gordon!?!?

Eh, probably 'the show must go on'.

AlexFili 05-02-2009 12:29 AM

If you notice, the songs you have mentioned have only been mentioned by one person. I know that's not a great way to check popularity, but I think I covered most of the bases here.

Anyway don't take it too seriously, it's only a bit of fun.

i only like 'Dont stop me now' because it reminds me of the scene from Shaun of the Dead when they're trying to kill a zombie to the beat.

OANST 05-02-2009 11:08 AM

I like 'Ice, Ice Baby'.

I like don't stop me now because it inspired this scene in my head of a guy being dropped out of a plane and then flying around blowing shit up.

Also Shaun of the Dead.

AlexFili 05-02-2009 02:16 PM

I prefer the scene where it shows you the other 6/7 potential survivors which had a different cast, including Matt Lucas and Mark Gatiss :p

MA 05-04-2009 08:06 AM

good film, better than Hot Fuzz, which i thought was a big let down.
"I dont mind being eaten."

Nick Frost beats Matt Lucas anyday.

Bohemian Rhapsody will always remain the most thuper awesome song they wrote. But I can understand debate on the subject, some of their other moments are almost equally kickass to the point it's easy to forget sometimes. Coincidentally, BR was also the first song of theirs I ever distinctly remember hearing; not because someone played it for me, or because I watched Wayne's World, but because I chanced upon a broadcast of their Live at Wembley Stadium concert years back just before the song started. And then after that they went into Hammer to Fall, which is also way thuper badass. I'm pretty sure that's about the coolest introduction anyone could ask for to a band where drugs aren't involved somewhere in the listening process.

AlexFili 05-05-2009 11:08 PM

P!nk's live cover of Bohemian Rhapsody was probably one of the best covers I have ever heard in my entire life. Worth every quid of the entrance fee :D

Dixanadu 05-07-2009 02:23 PM

Don't Stop Me Now & Bohemian Rhapsody. Their other songs are okay, it's these two in my books that reign supreme.

Crashpunk 05-19-2009 08:19 AM

Don't Stop Me Now is the best by miles

Guekko 05-19-2009 08:12 PM

Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favourites, Radio Ga Ga comes in close second

Hazel-Rah 05-31-2009 09:40 PM

i'd have to go with 'seaside rendezvous' or 'bohemian rhapsody' personally, i've listened to both songs way too many times
