Favorite Queen song?
At first I liked Under Pressure the most, but now I quite like Bohemian Rhapsody. I especially like the final verse :D
What do you think? |
IS THIS THE REAL LIFE
IS THIS JUST FANTASY |
:
Tie your mother down Fat bottom girls That`s what i think. |
Just saw a most entertaining comment on Youtube's Killer Queen

How can I choose? Each one is like silky auditory sky-nectar.
|
Queen is like being kicked in the balls by an angel.
No vote. |
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
|
Unless you edit the poll and list every Queen song they made I see no reason for this to be a thread.

|
This is my thread now? Hmmm? Yes?
|
1) It's not possible for me to do that
2) Most of the songs you have suggested are quite obscure and not their most popular songs |
Popular != best, we've been through this Alex.
|
However popular = more likely to have heard of them and thus be able to provide an opinion.
|
What, no flash gordon!?!?
Eh, probably 'the show must go on'. |
If you notice, the songs you have mentioned have only been mentioned by one person. I know that's not a great way to check popularity, but I think I covered most of the bases here.
Anyway don't take it too seriously, it's only a bit of fun. |
i only like 'Dont stop me now' because it reminds me of the scene from Shaun of the Dead when they're trying to kill a zombie to the beat.
|
I like 'Ice, Ice Baby'.
|
We shalt rocketh thee...

Also Shaun of the Dead. |
I prefer the scene where it shows you the other 6/7 potential survivors which had a different cast, including Matt Lucas and Mark Gatiss :p
|
good film, better than Hot Fuzz, which i thought was a big let down.
"I dont mind being eaten." Nick Frost beats Matt Lucas anyday. |
Bohemian Rhapsody will always remain the most thuper awesome song they wrote. But I can understand debate on the subject, some of their other moments are almost equally kickass to the point it's easy to forget sometimes. Coincidentally, BR was also the first song of theirs I ever distinctly remember hearing; not because someone played it for me, or because I watched Wayne's World, but because I chanced upon a broadcast of their Live at Wembley Stadium concert years back just before the song started. And then after that they went into Hammer to Fall, which is also way thuper badass. I'm pretty sure that's about the coolest introduction anyone could ask for to a band where drugs aren't involved somewhere in the listening process.
|
P!nk's live cover of Bohemian Rhapsody was probably one of the best covers I have ever heard in my entire life. Worth every quid of the entrance fee :D
|
Don't Stop Me Now & Bohemian Rhapsody. Their other songs are okay, it's these two in my books that reign supreme.
|
Don't Stop Me Now is the best by miles
|
Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favourites, Radio Ga Ga comes in close second
|
i'd have to go with 'seaside rendezvous' or 'bohemian rhapsody' personally, i've listened to both songs way too many times
