I've always been curious about the concept of forum raids.

So what's your opinion? Have you ever been part of a large group that gang-trolled some other messageboard? Do you think it's a horrid act? Are the some forums you'd actually consider trolling, I.E. racists or furries or Hobos or something?

I didn't actively participate but I was once a member of a forum where most of the members joined up to create a character to troll an otherwise innocent videogaming forum. Oh, wait... nevermind.

You mean like, all of our active members join the Half Life 2 forums and make millions of threads branding them all copy cats and plagiarists?

We could take them all on in huge flame wars!

I've done it with my friend on this forum we didn't like once. But a whole forum effort would just be bloody awesome. When can we start? :D

I'd suggest the Gamefaqs or IGN forums, but it'd be like pissing in the ocean.

Dude....there are so many better ways to troll a Naruto forum, I mean the fandumb doesn't exactly make it hard.

Besides gathering amusement out of this, what else would we accomplish?

Sometimes it helps administrators find flaws in their ban system :D

I have, nothing big, just some 12 year olds trying to make a forum, me and my friends just raided the shit out of their forum. The kid said he called the cops on us or something. Another time at another forum, the guy running it gave his password to one of my friends for when he was gone. Nothing happened for a while, one day we got bored and the Admin never changed their password, this was much worse. Lemon Party, Penises, and calling the site owner many names happened. Also Naruto 34, it was a Naruto site. At the end, we deleted the site. The owner said he cried.

I kinda meant people who actually deserved it, like racist American heartlanders and people who don't give their kids vaccinations and stuff like that.

Exactly. As long as we don't go into it thinking we're the karma police and that we're just fucking with some yokels, I'm all for it.

But the IGN and Gamefaqs forums WOF, really? Fuck pissing in the ocean, that's like throwing a vacuum into orbit.

Not that I have any problem just dicking around and raiding the CAD forums. Same effect as any other fan fueled shithole, but Tim Buckley is the whatiest of dicks.

How about some Insane Clown Posse forum, they deserve it for being douches and liking that garbage music.
