Would you get Oddworld tattooed on you ???
 

Would anyone get any Oddworld inked on them.
I am planning to get them done , the reason is ive been playing Oddworld since i was about 3 and it means alot to me .

Do what you like, but I wouldn't. I find the idea of getting any kid of tattoo vile, but each to their own, as they say.

I have to side with OddjobAbe on this one. I don't ever plan getting a tatoo. Probrably because of the cost for removing it.

I wouldn't, but that's only because I don't want any tattoo at all, otherwise I think I might consider to have one

When you have more important things going on in your life, you will still have an annoying oddworld tattoo that you probably don't care about, and besides, what is the benefit of having one?

Although I would never get a tattoo, it would be a toss up between;

1) Abe's Tattoos
2) A Slig Face
3) A D&M tattoo (in honor of the Glory Slig fanfic)
4) A tattoo in the shape of Sasuke's cursed seal

i am not planning to get a tatoo.... EVER! mainly because it sound very painful

I'd have a Scrab on my back, a heavily stylized one, mind.

I would get Abe's tattoos (especially the hand ones).

I think a couple would be cool but seriously, if you were 3 you would be like 14 or 15 now. You would seriously regret that later in life, I believe. That's just my opinion though. I mean it's a great game but it's like getting a girlfriend tattooed to your back then trying, later in life, to get another girlfriend. I'm not saying that this game is a fad though. In fact, I believe that this game was underrated. Well, I'm getting too carried away.

It'd be pretty stupid if you ending up not liking Oddworld later in life. I think it'd be nice to get a native tattoo, 'cuz even if you stop liking Oddworld, it's still a pretty awesome design.

I have several tattoos. Two of which are intentionally dumb. Getting an Oddworld tattoo just seems like a mistake to me. Even if you regret it later in life, it would be hard to laugh it off with anyone, because the series is so obscure that I doubt it will linger in the memories of any but the most devote fans.

So, yeah, don't do it.


For the record, tattoos do not hurt. They are mildly annoying. Akin to a skinned knee, or bad sun burn.

I know what you mean Henrekes, and Oddworld means a lot to me too, even though i have a pretty busy job. But my mother told me once, 'dont get a tattoo until your 21, cus then all the silly ideas have left your system'. I was actually thinking of having the slig barracks logo on my arm, by the shoulder.

Jesus, dont get them on your hands. My mate had the four dots tattooed on his knuckles when he was pissed and regrets it to this day. If Police see 'em he'll be up Shit street.

If i remember rightly, they stand for 'all Police are bastards', or some other obscene language.

I wouldn't get a tattoo, but if I were and if it were to be an Oddworld one, I'd get some native rock-art. I've always loved the design of them.

I considered getting Abe's hand tatoos... and I still like the idea. But I won't until the infrastructure starts to crumble and the issue of having such obvious body art would no longer be of importance to society which labels such things as 'eccentric.'

Native rock art would probably be my choice too... or something along the lines of AO's version of Abe's tattoos.

i like the idea of the native art, but in my personal opinion sleeves of just everything oddworld would look so good, and it doesnt matter what other people think, its how it makes you feel

I've actually considered getting an itty-bitty OWI or even Slig Barracks logo tattooed on my ankle.

I have the Slig Barracks logo on the back of my personalized T-Shirt, and it is kinda cool. The thing about tattoos is, you can't take them off (temporarily). Unlike clothes.

Getting a tattoo is a long-term commitment and I would only recommend it if you are a true Oddworld fan through and through, and I would only suggest torso or back tattoos, which are the easiest to cover up.

There's plenty of other ways to show your devotion to Oddworld, merchandise, artwork, home-made Slig finger puppets... Heck you can probably get a temporary transfer tattoo done first, and see what you think of it. If you don't like it, you can always say no ;).

I want the AE tattoo on my chest or the OWI logo on my right arm.

I'd have to get somthing that doesn't have an obvious link to the games (so I wouldn't, say, have the word ODDWOLD across my neck), though thankfully as somone above mentioned, Oddworld has attractive art and design which isn't specific to the games.

Saying that, though, a giant slig across my back does sound appealing...

Getting one of Abes tatoos tatooed seems like a bit of a cop-out, but maybe somthing like the mudoken heads.

How about a Glukon on either butt cheek? Attractive?
