Speak Up ODDWORLD!
Hello i have a problem on OMO and when i use game speak y x a ect its very low with a echo i don't know if this is because i am playing on my Xbox 360 or its my tv or just a bug?
thanks for reading Odd Ryan. |
It's a problem with the 360. I think a few other 360 users experienced it as well.
|
Yeah, Microsoft stuffed up when making MO backwards compatible, so the sound is a bit dodgy.
|
Sometimes it helps by turning the music off , also sometimes when you beat the game once certain levels start working . And if that don’t help you, well then your just going to have to deal with it because microsoft's not going to fix it.
|
my MO sound is dodgy on the 360 aswell. I was annoyed that SW didnt work on it though. Sadly i have recently sold both of them on ebay, as we got rid of the old xbox with the saves on it and i just didnt play them anymore.
|
They're only good for 1-2 playthoughs anyway. Definately worth completing though.
|
I have both Xbox's in very good condition. It's just the remote that are constantly overworked.:D
Yeah I tried to play MO on the Xbox360... Sound was an issue. |
I think it's stupid that you have to pay money for a seperate DVD remote when you can just pop it in the PS2 and watch it straight away. What a freakin rip off.
I'd get a 360 but I think it would take over my entire life! |

ALL the more reason to QUIT BUYING NEW folks.
Each new product is cheaper than the last. |
I apologize Nate, I wasn't thinking about the bigger picture.
Is it just me, or does blu-ray seem pointless really? Considering the high-quality of DVDs at the moment? Blu-Ray is kind of like overkill isn't it? (BTW I'm not trolling, I'm just wondering if blu-ray really is worth the extra cash?) |
Having compared certain movies from DVD quality to Bluray...
No if you have an old tv. Yes if you're watching on a computer or HD tv. |
Try plugging in your headphones (if you have some) for the time you are playing and this may fix it. I believe this may help a little, and in addition to this, the level prior to Sloghut1029 (I think that's right), the sound problem will be fixed temporarily. The sound issue crops up with nearly all 360's on MO, so don't worry, just try to remember what each button does! :)

Playing past games on new consoles can make the game glitchy and almost muted,
try playing AE on a PS3... |
Actually I don't think there are any faults when you do that, as I did it a few weeks back at my cousins and it ran smoothly enough.

Some consoles have near perfect backwards compatibility, it's only when you try software emulation that things start getting screwy. Having said that, there are plenty of PC emulators that can play 99% of games perfectly (Depending on complexity, etc).
|
The only console i've got thats backwards compatibility is good is the Wii.
Also why do some PS3s play PS2 games perfect but not PSone? |
My PS3 plays all my old and new games perfectly :) Are your disks in good condition?
Also the sound issue on MO isn't a problem when I'm inside a facility or cave ect. Yet when I step into the wilderness, I can't even hear Abe fart :fuzsad: |
