Well, it's the Grand National. [Note: This is an annual horse racing event]
Is anyone going to bet on it? We normally bet a few quid every year.

I dont usually bet since i lost my stationary and a pc game to my mate in poker at school. You can guess what type of school it was.

I don't think I'll be funding animal cruelty this year.

The Grand National is a special horse racing event that happens only once a year. Basically if there ever was a time to bet on horses, this event would be it.

Bugger that. Come to Melbourne in November for Melbourne Cup Day. Only horse race in the world that has its own public holiday.
