Why my Life Sucks, Shit.
 

Sure we all break bones once in a while. It's generaly not that serious. but it can really piss you off when you have to where your arm in a cast and sling for four to six weeks and you're going on holidays to New Zealand in a week. I couldn't wait for all the stuff I could do, but now because of this stupid arm theres no bungy jumping, no white water rafting, no driving a luge. I'm going to be lucky if the doctor says I can pat sheep with my free arm.

Now anyone who can bother time-translating I'm typing this up at 6:30 in the morning. The reason; I've had 2 hours sleep and no matter how many pain killers I've taken my arm is still very sore. So I'm not bothering lying in bed any longer.

Also one arm typing can be very annoying especially for capitol letters. so i won't be using any capitols for the next four to six weeks.

I wouldn't worry, sheep aren't that easy to pat anyway.

You poor dear, you poor poor poor little dear. Do you realize how little people there are in this world, me included, who had the chance to do half of that shit at your age? People on this forum and elsewhere will have had/be having much worse experiences, so man up and stop moaning. You had a lively, lnog distance holiday in the middle of a really bad recession, things are not bad for you at all. Yes you've got an injury. Guess what, so have I. Not a broken bone but a bad sprain that prohibits or impedes me in doing stuff as well.

A motherfucking holiday in the middle of a pissing economic crisis is really quite irrelevant. The New Zealand dollar has landed it self in a heap of shit so the exchange rate is fucking good. Thas why I'm going in the middle of a pissing economic crisis.

I agree with WoF in that you still have a fantastic holiday etc. so stop whining, but at the same time I can see why you are frustrated.
Just try to enjoy the holiday as much as you can, and remember that there will probably be another chance for you to return to NZ at some point in your life.

My brother has been, for the last three years virtually confined to his bedroom with a serious disease, and it is likely he will be for another three years. My Dad was made reduntant as a result of the economic crisis, and nobody else was willing to hire him because he was over qualified for the jobs he applied for locally, forcing him to move away from his family for almost a year, with a weeks visit every three months or so. This resulted in his 20 year marriage dying and his family ending up splitting apart with nothing that he can do about it, forcing him to sell his house, which can't be sold during the times of these economic crisis, yet he doesn't have a job which will enable him to pay the mortgage on the house, nor by a new place for him to live.

My heart bleeds for you.
