Is it possible to add the latest blog entries to the front page of the Honeybee theme? I noticed that Native and Industrial both have it, but my beloved Honeybee does not.

I second this and was meaning to make the request myself. Sure would be nice as the honeybee theme is easiest on the eyes IMO.

You actually use honeybee? Native FTW. God, I sound nerdy.

At the moment Native is the most advanced, as unlike Industrial or (I assume) the old ones it'll let you quicksearch through blogs.

I was about to point out that admins != developers and that even if I did know how to do this, I have no way of implementing those changes. However, it seems the process is in theory easier than I originally thought. All I need now is for you all to start making my meals, looking after my house, and doing my essays and reading so I might be able to look at the situation in any detail.

I've always liked the industrial skin because of the dark colors and sharp contrast between the blue and the white. :fuzblink:

This is NOT turning in to a skin flame war. Next comment for or against a particular skin that is not specifically about Latest Blog Entries will get both negrep and an infraction.

Nate, this is not at all turning into a flame war. People are just offering their opinions on skins. No one is going: NATIVE SUX INDUSTRIAL IS THE BESTEST. IF YOU DON'T USE INDUSTRAIL YOU IS A DICHEAD!!!!1!

And if people just made 'for' comments and no 'against' comments it would be impossibble to start a flame war.

Your first post in this thread counts as the beginning of the flame war. It would appear that your immediate reaction to reading OANST's reasonable request was to demean him for using Honeybee.

In any case, we've had a hundred threads discussing preferred theme. It does not need to be discussed again, particularly given that it comes down to subjective preference and nothing else.

I was not demeaning him. I was just surprised that people use honeybee.

Also what do the hyphons infront of the options in the 'Quick Style Chooser' mean?

I didn't know there were any - on mine their certainly isn't...

Alcar; Have you been playing around with theme options? Suddenly I've got a few extra in the list that I didn't have yesterday.
I've never had the vBulletin 3 or Mac the Janitor themes before.

And your comment of 'Native FTW' does not in any way mean that Native theme is significantly better than Honeybee?

Yeah that's how I would see it.

They are all good in their own ways, be it style or function.

The only styles publicly accessible are Native, Industrial, Honeybee and Munch's Oddysee. Admins can see all of them, however.

Ew I just realized what honeybee was, I mixed that up with the Munch's Oddysee theme.

For the record I use MO, not honeybee. I just had to make that clear because I don't want to become less popular.

I would use Industrial more, but it has the old Slig visor :p
Also, I like the fact that Native makes it look different than all the other forums on the web. The other ones are quite samey.

How would using a certain skin make you less or more popular? XD
Really, that would be interesting to know, especially because as far as I'm concerned only you would know what skin you use unless you tell people. :fuzblink:

Oh please, I was just making an idiotic statement. :p

There are things that I prefer about the MO theme, but I can't get over the fact that the color scheme reminds me of vomit. I'm not even saying that it looks like vomit. It just reminds me of it for some reason.

Everyone knows that Native is the best. sarcasm included
