Renegade X
 

Few people on this forum will probably have played Command & Conquer: Renegade, but for me it's a sort of childhood memory because it was the very first online game I've ever played. I've been with this game for 5 years, played it almost every day and it remained fun. After Renegade I've had my joys with Battlefield and a few random FPS's but never refound the fun and teamplay I had in C&C Renegade.

But now, a glimmer of hope is on the horizon. A brave bunch of dudes have taken it upon themselves to take C&C Renegade and pour it into a new shiny modern engine. The UT3 engine. And the work they have done so far is impressive to say the least. The basic idea is to make an exact duplicate of everything in the game, but with better graphics and a smoother engine.

Black Mesa Source is a better nostalgia graphics-overhaul.

With no disrespect towards the greatness that is Black Mesa Source, UT3 engine WTFPWNS Source engine by like 10.000 lightyears. Sorry Valve.
