Repairing an old art book.

Does anybody have any suggestions for repairing a deteriorating old book?

A big section of pages came out because the glue holding the book together has dried up. If I reglue it what kind of gluye should I use?

If you like, I could ask my Dad if he’s willing to send you some advice. He’s not a professional book binder, but he as a book dealer he’s no stranger to restoration techniques.

Nate: I have also been searching the web but i figured i'd also ask on message boards not only to get more opinions but because i like talking to other people instead of just finding the answer to my question and being done with it

Max: if it's not too much trouble that would be appreciated

you could reach me at hazelwsd at yahoo dot com

EDIT: Edited for crawler safeness.
