I've actually gotten back into drawing again and I'm experimenting with different coloring styles. It's been lots of fun for me so I thought I'd post stuff here as I go. ^^

A gabbit playing with a wild slig. I got this image into my head while I was listening to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride from the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch. I was originally going to make the rope very detailed but the pen tool decided it was having a bad day and that it would take it out on me. So I left it like that. :(

This drawing is roleplay-related. It's one possible future for 'Fred' the slig.



More to come as I think of them, although I suspect many might be RP-related. If you have any suggestions or requests please tell me and I might draw them! I've been in an artistic mood lately and am looking for things to draw. :D

I'm loving the gabbit, you drew its face very well. You forgot the fin in the back of its head though.

Haha, you're the first person I've seen to draw Sligs with compound eyes, like OWI explained :p

Thankies! It's actually ironic because I think Sligs are the cutest things ever, EXCEPT for their eyes. Just thinking about ... ... compound ... eyes... eeek! I would hug a blindfolded one. =)

I think the wild slig looks awesome. I'm actually planning to do some drawings based on Teal and Sl'askia's Slig stories in Flash.

Haha, I think Sligs are cute because of their eyes. But then again, I'm weird like that :p

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what the birds look like. I am, however, fascinated by them and the question of whether sligs can see them or not, what they mean, etc... It does mean something for them to be burdening him, though. :)

The sligs you draw look pretty good! I really like the whole idea of wild sligs and muds and gabbits interacting peacefully with each other.

why are the birds semi-transparent on the last one though? That's my only criticism

It's a scene from a roleplay of my character, Riley, and my friend's character, Seydas the mudokon. I want to explain the context of this picture, but it would be quite a story and I don't think anyone wants to read that. :p! Anyway, since this is a serious scene, I decided to go for a more detailed coloring style. I just don't think I could convey the feeling I want to with the cel-shaded thing I've been going with. This is not a happy story and it is not a happy picture.

That's funny, my Silpher's Pack story has a character called Riley as well... Riley is a female in my fanfic though :D Funny how these little co-incidences happen though!

Loving the drawing so far, you got the color of the Slig just right!

Okay, here we go. Pretty much done except for a background, which I don't feel much like making... :|
