I tought it would be fun to write about how I discovered the forums and became part of the community. Okay, let's go....
Part 1: The little choice that changed my life! I must say that I only discovered the forums and fan sites by accident. I was surfing on the web and came across Gamez.nl, a dutch site about computer games. There, I found a link to Oddworld.com. You know, back then, I wasn't a fanatic. I played AE, completed it a year ago, but I wasn't a fanatic. Until then. On Oddworld.com, I found links to fansites. Via the fansites, I found the forums. They looked interesting. After a while, I decided to join. I became Cool Paramite! I never made an introduction post. I directly jumped in the action. My first post was a post in "Scarb fights", in the days it was popular. At first, I didn't felt a sense of community. But later on, I became part of it. Quikly, I reached my 25th post, leaving behind my Gabbit tadpole rank.... To be continued! |

I was on dogpile.com, looked up oddworld, found this site and decided to join the forums. I don't have much of a story to tell, but I'll listen to CP.
