I'm downloading the beta right now. From what I hear, it solves a lot of the problems that we have been having with Vista. And yes, I have been using the dreaded Vista all this time. I'm interested to see how it feels. Anyone else going to try it out?

I still haven't had any problems with Vista.

Maybe the cure is just using pink folder-boxes.

What is the main differences between Vista and 7? It seems entirely pointless to me, a non Vista user.

I've never had an issue with Vista - it's been spectacular.

I played around with Windows 7 last night on my mate's laptop, and I really liked it. I've sure you've all read up on the UI improvements (which are great!), and it isn't slow at all. I'll definitely upgrade once it goes gold.

Already installed. I haven't used Vista at all so I can't make a strong comparison but it certainly is very pretty.

Makes Ubuntu look like brown poo, unfortunately.

Windows 7 is just a polished version of the unpopular vista. It will hopefully be the OS I'm running when I get a new computer.
