Hello everybody I guess you know me by all of my posts in the general discussion. I just want to say hi and I am sorry for driving some of you people mad. I guess I am just an Oddworld nut case. Oh well! I dident mean it. You see around where I live not many people like Oddworld as much as I do and it is hard to talk to people about that. You see I am a college student and I think Oddworld is my future. I deffently want to get a job in a place like OWI. and I am very excited. I am just relieved that there is a lot of fans out there where as before I diden't think so. Now I have a place to go to and talk to others like me. and I think thats great. So I hope nobody thinks I am crazy. I am just excited.

Yeah I graduate from HS this year and will be going to ASU next year but I'll still be living in my basement...which is actually pretty sweet since it's huge, I basically have it to myself and my parents travel a lot.

You are going to ASU? Is that Arazona State University? Right now I am in a two year community college and I am going to then transfer to a four year. I might go to the Art Institute Of Pittsburgh or possibly Ohio State. I am going to major in comercial art and design. Infact Oddworld is one of my inspirations for my major. What are you going to major in? The other is Star Wars. I deffently want to become a concept artist. Heck there is a slim chance of working for Lanning. That would be a dream come true for me. I have so many great ideas. You see I have a extrordinary imagination and I am persueing it.

I wish you luck at colledge, ParamiteAbe. I hope you get a job at OWI, too. I agree, it would be so cool to work for Lanning! (b.t.w.- the only way you'll get a job as concept artist at Oddworld is if you beat me to it!)

is comercial art and design like andy warhal's(spelt wrong) paintings? please forgive me if I'm wrong art isn't my subject.

Yea commercial art and design is painting but it is also animation and drawing too. If you are in HS You should take a graphic design class. I did and it was fun. We did mirror etchings. Thats where you get an image on a mirror. I etched out the Oddworld Inhabitants symble on it and I got an A. It is very fun. Plus we did air brushing and cartoons. It was great. All of my assignments were Oddworld theamed. I had this green shirt and I air brushed Abes face on it saying Hello! My teacher loved it.

I write and come up with ideas for stories/movies/game plots/gameplay concepts/books/comic books/TV shows all the time
but I can't draw and sometimes it's tough to get someone else to draw my ideas to my satisfaction (i'm an ass I guess)
and I don't know jack about computers and graphic design so there goes my video game career (unless I start a company with my computer savy friends but...)

So was thinking of majoring in Japanese and becoming a translator. And if all else fails I'll become a masseuse (the ladies say I give a mean body rub ;) )

What kind of ideas do you come up with? Science Fiction, or Adventure? I am great at creating creatures and other worlds and making up characters. The other night I was sitting on a couch just thinking and I came up with a whole new science fiction concept in just ten Min.
