Halo 3 for PC?
Any info if Halo 3 is coming for pc?
|
Yes but it will be shite
|
Shut up about Halo.
|
Probably.
|
Who needs Halo when you have Gears of War anyway?
|
Who needs any other first person shooter than Doom? I don't care what any of you say, that one was by far superior to every other FPS game.
And I believe there's the possibility of Halo 3 being ported to the PC, but as Laser said, if it is, it'll be naff. |
Hazel rah and oddjob abe r u guys fucking pricks? this is about helo 3 on pc not about who needs whatever!
|
Well quite frankly AM, no one cares about Halo 3 on PC. At all.
|
Says you
|
And everyone else in this thread.
Also, I've played Halo 3. Its ok, but Call of Duty is far far better. |
:
That gets you more negrep. |

Halo 3 was good but i thought it would be a little bit better. Even if it did come out on pc now,its a little late because its been out on 360 for ages and most people have done it.I know not everybody has a 360,but still. |

Unfortunately they don't let us continually give rep to one person. Unfortunate.

Alienmagi, consider yourself warned for spam.
|
Dude thats not a spam. It's a picture version of telling everyone to gtfo
|
Why not just say it? And how you've worded that sentence seems a little insolent, watch yourself.

Unrealistic work of fiction with an above average story -vs- Realistic shooter with a pretty thin story that could have come from any random news report. I liked playing CoD 4 better then I did playing Halo, if only because I like the stealthy tactical approach better then the guns blazing grenade spamming way of Halo. Still, you can't compare. |
You thought the story was above average? I thought it was the product of a mad scientist with a confusion ray.
|
Forgive me, but is it not RPGs and adventure games (or anything like that) that need great stories? Fair enough, a good story does enhance the experience, but it doesn't 'get you going' (if you'd rather, excited) like a (not necessarily 'crap') simple plot. Just look at Doom (I like to refer to that one) - monsters from Hell, just blast the living shit out of them. That's basically it. And every time I hear that summary, I get pumped up for blasting the shit out of whatever is around the corner.
Now, a complex story? Interesting, no doubt (I can only repeat myself here), but there's so many little details that when the plot's been explained, you've lost all will to blast things, and have gained the will to find a book with a story like it. That said, it's different for each person. |

Havoc I see that as cashing in, not writing a solid story.
OH NO ALIENZ. |
I've thought about buying one of those books once, but changed my mind the last second because I didn't feel like reading (and I still have a lot of Dark Tower to read). As I recall the books are pretty lengthy, not some 50 page piece of shit story.
Besides no-one is forcing anyone to buy those books, half of the Halo players don't even know the damn things exist. It's fan merchandise if anything else, I doubt they cashed in a lot with those books. |

It will, just dont expect it soon, Halo 2 took like 3 years to go over to PC.
|
Expect it after Halo Wars becomes a major flop and they find themselves in need of money.
