Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
I...I don't remember the last time I had so much fun.
This game is practically beyond words. It's just incredible, in so many ways. Please, PLEASE pick this up. it's an AMAZING GAME. Though I still haven't got the hang of building boats yet, it's an absolutely awesome experience. |
I have it :D
T'is wonderful! Alcar... |
I'm looking for something to blow the rest of my student loan on, make me a case for this against other titles this Christmas.

You've got Gears 2, if you didn't I would've recommended that. (You know. For the party.)
he plot? "Grunty's back. As a Robot...Zombie. And also there's a cat." There. You've gotta earn Spiral mountain as yours once and for all, and the only way to do it is get Jiggies, Run shit over, and Try to get a good angle to look at Humba Wumba. Kazooie doesn't have the moves of the previous two games, so you've got to build some vehicles to smash shit, fly, and move quickly instead. You have to beat THREE LEVELS (Out of about 75), explore the town a little bit, and you'll have enough parts to get you going. If you buy it I'll send you some Blueprints, BTW. Vehicles can be land, Air, or Water based. Or a royal clusterfuck of the three. Some of the gadgets allow you to turn slow, air based helicopters into high-powered buggies that rip the ground apart. After you pass the hurdle of using fuel tanks and engines, replaced with all kinds of shit that takes up maybe a quarter of the space, you can go CRAZY with what you want your vehicles to looks like. It's brilliant, and though it'll take you a little while to get used to shifting angles to move vehicle parts properly, it's still an easy system to conquer. Oh, and you can test EVERY vehicle before you save it, regardless of the type. Multiplayer seems like the only setback in that the matchmaking takes a little while to load, but friends list based matches work fine. If you have any questions, just ask. I'm not really positive what you want to know. |

I've fallen back in love with Banjo and Kazooie. It's good! ITS GOOD! |
I downloaded the demo and I have to say that the game is beautiful. Unfortunately, I find the controls and camera to be infuriating at times. I'm trying to make a decision about whether I should get it or not. It seems like there is a lot of fun to be had but the last thing I need is another Jak 2, with very fun core gameplay and insanely bullshit vehicle sections.
Convince me. |
