Oddworld game made by Cheat12Code.
 

It's a fun little game that my friend, Cheat12Code wanted me to post here. You'll get the story as you play. Roughly around 10MB size while out of zip. And 8.77MB in the zip. Have fun, rate, commet? Rateings out of 0-10.

There will be a second one and it will have some glitches fixed.

The ONLY reason this was uploaded on filefront is because oddworldforums doesn't allow zip files over 500kb.. So please don't accuse me of viruses and other stuff as last time I uploaded a game... Or that kitten picture pack. People have to learn to trust.





For some reason.... I think this should go in a different thread.. I haven't been to this forum for about a year, so please be nice and tell me if this thread is fine where it is or not, if you tell me where this kind of stuff goes. I'll post #2 in that thread. Thankyou.

I just downloadded and started playing, maybe you could of used oddworld sprites that were made by axryl.

Poor controls make any game a bad game. Nice try for a first game though.

It won’t run on my computer. Your friend should try programming for a non‐proprietary format.

This should be in Fan Corner. No biggie.

It isn't a first game.. And you can ALSO use the W-A-S-D keys to move, then it isn't much of bad controls..

What program did your friend make to use it? My bets on Yoyogames Game Maker. It may interest your friend to invest some time looking for a copy of Clickteam's The Games Factory. ;)

Cheat12Code is making Abe's Oddifent 2.. And it's much better than the first. Lets see what you think of # 2. And I don't like bad comments on stuff. No need to be mean... But you can go f*** yourself.. I just couldn't resist saying that to smobody who just posted that my friend's game is shit. It's a first of the series... And I bet that is way better than you can do anyway.

You may want to look up the meaning of the word criticize in the dictionary, it certainly does not mean 'Openly, vehemently and abusively deride.
Don't sink to his level, I'm sure your friend can defend his own game if he wants.

You know you don't tend to make a sequel until the fist game is finished and I was under the impression that it was a working progress (hence the lack of sprites and storyline and... gameplay). If you're having trouble with any of the things that are decreasing the impressiveness of this game you could try asking around (creating request threads and PMing) for help - though people here seem to enjoy the criticism they're often also glad to get involved with the creation.
