oddworld goes speedpaint
hi guys
i was thinking of starting a speedpaint thread. all medias are allowed, only rules: oddworld as the main topic and it should be your own work! it is also allowed to create and design own ideas, but it should fit into oddworld. so what do you think? are you all set? or some? |

Could you explain what a Speedpaint is? I'm going to guess it involves painting speedily.

does this one count as a speedpainting? :lol: though it's not verry beatiful but I tried to make it nice... just with the mouse normaly I draw a sketch with a pencil first and then make a photo of it to colour it with photoshop, I still can't draw with a mouse xD

well what is a speedpaint. good question^^. sorry about the absence of definition. here it is: an image, done in max 1 or 2 hours has the honour to name itself 'speedpaint', its a bit more than a sketch and less than a final painting. it is important to catch the essence of what you want to show in your image. thats what i would call a speedpaint... But this shouldn't kill all joy. so forget the definition^^. just draw and spill yourself with paint. wallow in creativity. oddworld donates much inspiration. the more people join the merrier it will be. and thanks for the nice comments about my albino slig. i feel a huge sympathy about this guy. i wonder what his name could be. any ideas? should open a new thread for the suggestions... :confused: |

and for the name... right now the only thing I can think of is Alby O_O but hehe what ever I'm not good at inventing names :p Edit: forget this I'm horrible at inveting names :eeek: |
