I got it last night. So far I have played through most of Act 1 on single player. It's a huge difference from the first. The battles are gigantic in scope and the action is extremely fast pace. I also played Guardian in multiplayer. It's a lot like assassination except that as long as the leader is alive you can respawn. Also very fun.

I also played Horde. It's amazing.

i want! i want!

I want it just as much as Dead Space. I watched the gameplay video and Game Trailers and already I'm itching to play it. Looks amazing, and seems to have tighter gameplay than the first.

Plus, the TV ad was awesome. They always pick the best songs for trailers.

Oh my god. My friend got the special edition, and in the art book there's this little fake picture of the main guy and his woman. Me and him just pissed ourselves for like 10 minutes. what a crock of shit. how about we give Duke Nukem a wife while we're at it? brute = should not have backstories

i got it earlier,and i love it.
theres so much more action,on a much bigger scale(like OANST said).
im about half way through act 2 and have yet to play horde but im gunna do later tho.

I'm getting a 360 this friday. I suggest some sort of OWF co-op extrrrrrrrrrrrrrrravaganza.

Horde mode is wicked. We should all play.

I have noticed that most teams seem to comprise of three Cole's and two Marcus'

Here's hoping that in Gears 3, assuming there is a Gears 3, The last Carmine brother is some sort of super-badass warrior that will not die and makes Marcus look like a wuss.

So you're saying Cole is secretly a Carmine?

That what I had in mind. No doubt he'd have yet another helmet model (probably mysteriously MJOLNIR-like).

There are two more brothers. Clay will probably die, and the "D" carmine will be the bad ass.

My brother will love this game. As a Ben himself, he is acutely aware of all the Bens who get killed in films, books and games. It's like the redshirt name. Whenever we see a Ben character introduced at any part during a story, we know he is going to die, and we have always been right so far.

I hope not. Blech.

Can we haz an OWF christmas party on Live somewhere between the 20th Dec and the 10 Jan as those three weeks are the only time I'll have Live untill Easter and I want to at least attempt to kick someones ass on Halo or something. I have no actual money to buy next gen games at the moment, but I'm earning tonnes of virtual money by doing some student questionairres which should be redeemable by Christmas.

Might be hard with so many of us in different time zones but I'm up for trying if everyone else is.
