Here is some kind of art I like to do.

Here we are. 9893. Monsaic Lines, one of my most favourite level.
An other one: Paramonia 9894
I'll post some other tomorrow.

GlacierDragon 11-02-2008 06:09 AM

I like them. Nice work on the shading. The first one's my favorite.

OddYouko 11-02-2008 06:58 AM

Those are really nice. :) You can shade better then I can. =P
Love to see more!

totor 11-02-2008 08:39 AM

Thanks:).
Here is some more:
For this one I inspired me of the concept sketch of Steven Olds.
9897
the second one is from Scrabania: 9898
There are just here for the moment. I'll take better photograph from my sketches and I'll remove the last two and post the same but in a better quality.

Hey great totor! :D

you are indeed good at shading, it really looks realistic, my favorite one so far is the one of paramonia, I look forward to see more :)

crazysteef 11-02-2008 11:24 AM

Nice job Totor! I really like the well-sign sketch. The rocks were well-shaded, and I know how hard it is to shade rocks!:D But just out of curiosity, were you using one type of lead to make your sketches?:fuzconf:

I'm looking forward to your next drawing.

totor 11-02-2008 12:56 PM

Thank you very much:D. Paramonia is my first one and Monsaic Lines is my last one. To shade rocks I just trained a lot. Steven Olds helps me a lot through his different sketches. For differnt pencil I just use lots of different kind of pencil. I don't know how to tranlate that in english but ask Xavier may help you: des fusains 2B, 4B, 6B, une gomme Ã* fusain et beaucoup de crayon noir.
Here's two others:
Scrabania (I've done 6 months ago): 9899very dirty:p
Monument Valley (nothing to do with oddworld I know but it was stupid to open a whole thread just for one draw): 9900
MV is a place I'd like to go (like the west of USA).
And this is what I'd like to do (impossible I know): 9901

scipionyx 11-03-2008 10:24 AM

hey I like your pictures in the last post, they're verry inspiring  I can't say which one I like better both are cool, they make me wanna play AO again :D
and what do you mean with impossible? :fuzconf: I think you can draw well

totor 11-04-2008 09:32 AM

thanks, but this is the Steven Olds' sketches: they're awesome and so much realistic. But, here is two others: 9908and 9909

scipionyx 11-07-2008 06:10 AM

w00t, I like the creature in the first picture! what is it? - something between Slog and Scrab? -It's cool, and the second one too, do you also colour some of your pictures or do you just draw with pencils?

crazysteef 11-07-2008 04:59 PM

I too am finding your creature very interesting--combining a Slog and a Scrab was a brilliant idea, too:fuzvamp:. Just one thing to try out in your art, though; try darkening the darks and lightening the lights even more when you think the work is done. I've found it to be a very effective means of creating a sense of three-dimensional shadows (not that I'm that good at it yet myself):p

OddYouko 11-07-2008 07:55 PM

These are really good totor. =P I'm liking them alot!
And the Slog Scrab creature looks awesome. :D

GlacierDragon 11-08-2008 04:28 AM

Great work! I love how you do the landscapes. That creature in the last one is cute.

Matriar 11-12-2008 10:48 AM

Hey, those drawings look neat! You must keep up this good work! :D

Lacy Hemsmire 11-12-2008 02:16 PM

moxco 09-12-2009 04:38 AM

scipionyx 09-12-2009 12:18 PM

 hey great! my favorite is the second one :D it looks so peaceful especially because of the birds ^^

totor 09-14-2009 09:47 AM
