riddle me this, riddle me that, WHY THE **** IS MY AVATAR NOT UPLOADIN?!
Ok so I made meself a new avatar and the final step would be to upload the image to the forum. It is over 100x100 pixels but that never stopped any of my other uploads. The file size is 7.75KB which is 0.25KB lower then then the max file size but when I try to upload it the forum tells me that 18.75KB is too big. I know 18.75 is too big but the image I wanna upload aint that large!! Tell me - why this happening?

If you use paint or other primitive software, even though the file size is 7.75kb sometimes when you upload them from the web or directly from the web, the forum software will register as more. Or at least that's what happened to me a few times when I started making signatures.
To put it simple, you need to use a JPEG Resizer to truly shrink the KBs in your image. |
Tired meme irritates me. But the title made me giggle in a guilty sort of way since I thought I had better standards of humor. I guess I was wrong.

Actually, the limits are 100x100 in dimensions. The forums use a special image PHP extension to deal with image uploading. Do as Spirrow suggested an use something like the GIMP (a free image editor, and rather a good one) to compress your files as lossy JPEGs.
