Abe's Oddysee Problem.
I have AO on the PS1, and was wondering about some problems I have had with this game, I have tried 2 different discs and still I have the same issue. The Ring Lever on screen (R1P15C06) very near the start of the game, and positioned next the the Stats Board appears just fine, however when I return to Rupture Farms for the 2nd time (just before Zulag 2), on the very same screen there is no Ring to pull. - Can anyone tell me if I am doing anything wrong, as while it does not stop me from continuing with the game, it does stop me from entering that secret area. Also, the Ring on screen (R6P06C06) located just above the boardroom neither shows up. So when I play the game to that point, I simply have to quit. Is it a fault? - or am I not doing the game correctly? - PLEASE HELP.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that secret area exists when you return to RuptureFarms. The thing about the Boardroom, though, I can't help with.

I don't know about every version, but it definately exists on the PS1 version, thanks anyway.

i dont know if its theres even a secret area there. i finished the game myself but when you return to Rupture farms lots of things are different or change so its possible that its been erased from that lvl so there might not be a fault with the game

Yeah I remember that screen, yeah there is no ring to access the secret area when you return to 'Rupture Farms', although it's the same screens when you return it is technically a completely different level/section of the game if you get me. The past is past lol, did you miss it first time through?
As for the Boardroom pull ring I can't explain that it should be there, try cleaning your game cd and (with caution) your lense to your playstation lazer. It's all very old and dusty the system will skip and miss bits. |
Did you try going to where the boardroom ring is supposed to be and press up? It could just be that the disc was messed up and made the ring invisible...

I often had this glitch on PSX. The pull ring isn’t just invisible, it’s actually not there at all. Sadly.
