Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
Set to release for October 7, 2008 for Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS.
I mean I'm a big fan of the Ps1 games hated the new games though but this one looks pretty cool! Finally you get to fly whenever you want! :p Just wanted to know what you guys also think of this one. |
Interesting. I loved Spyro 2 for the PS. But flying wherever you want? That's pretty sweet! Haven't they used basically the same engine for nearly all of the games? I remember renting a GameCube Spyro game a while back, and was just like Spyro 1-3 but with updated graphics and such. Still, it's great they're finally stepping it up.

I still have Spyro: Year of the Dragonfly(so many daRn glitches) and I hate it! :mad: Yeah Spyro looks ok in it but I hate the way everyone else looks! And Ripto is supposed to be dead! Spyro killed him in Ripto's Rage! O__o
So then my dad rented me Spyro a new Beginning....umm to hard and stupid! I hate Spyro's new look and since when does Sparx talk? But I guess it makes sense since it's a "new beginning" for Spyro. But yeah I can't wait for Dawn of the Dragon. :p |
I played all of the original three that Insomniac Games made, and loved them. After they sold the franchise I didn't bother following it, as I knew it'd be a load of crap.
And besides, I had Ratchet & Clank to help me recover! :D Alcar... |
Seems interesting, but, urm...hit combos? The health bar and everything seems blegh to me, but I'm not gonna diss it just because it's different to the original games.
I'll wait for reviews and so on first, if even then I'd be bothered. |
This one actually looks pretty good. I have the one for the XBox and the other one for the Wii, and they were both pretty good too. Looking forward to this one.
BUT I do have a complaint. If Sparx is younger, why the Hell does he have a deeper voice? His larynx would be at it's smallest. If anything, his voice should have deepened by the later events in the series. |
I don't know why they changed his voice from David Spade to Wayne Brady....but I guess Elijah Wood is ok for Spyro...I never liked Tom Kenny's stupid voice. :mad: They should have stayed with the first voice for Spyro....that's what I think anyway..
