.. cuz it's ...ugly?
I just doodled around and because I was so bored I even coloured it in Photoshop with a cheap pc mouse! -It took a while, an whole evening to be precicely --,-- if I'm honest I never would have uploaded it. But today things are wrong and therefore I also behave strange xP... It's really crappy, just like nearly everything today, I don't really know why I uploaded this picture... Uh, and yes it should be a mudgirl looking over her shoulder, and I made her eyes too dark and her skin too bright and the scar across her eye doesn't really look like a scar. the picture was too huge so this is just some kind of smaller screenshot. =P ok I still like the eyes. ^^ The problem I have is that nearly all my pictures are all brief sketches, and most of them is really ugly... :crying: But I planned to improve much in drawing and so I start this thread... I hope there would be better things to upload in the future :p (<= this smilie looks way too happy, but I like it though, bleh) I hope you're not annoyed now. |

and yes, I drew both avatar pictures the old one and the new except the background of the new one, I didn't drew it but i manipulated it a bit :p Here are two more pictures which I made a few days ago, they are not that good but it makes so much fun to draw interns so I decided to upload them anyway... :happy: |

I haven't written much on my fanfiction yet, and I dunno if I will manage to write the whole thing down anyway, but I won't give it up.. thats for sure, I'm glad you want to read it :fuzgrin:
oh and btw: Ramón is one of the main characters in the fanfiction, and also meant to be the slig on the last picture I uploaded, I'm not sure if it is identifiable but he's holding a gun in his right hand there, but what you've said about him is also true. EDIT: I found an old doodle from another character from my fanfic, he's called Lefty and in case anyone can recognize: he's an outlaw minion :p I know it is really messy but I uploaded this because I've got a question: every time I try to redraw this, it doesn't look good anymore, should I give it a try and colour it in photoshop when I'm back? I will also change it a little bit then because it looks a bit weird right now xD, but probably it'll turn into a nice picture then, I dunno... |

thank you :D , it sounds probably a bit stupid but I learned english for 7 years and have no idea what inking in means xD plus I looked it up but couldn't find it ! so ehrm... what does 'inking in' mean? -to colour them? :goof: oh and I'm afraid you all have to wait a little longer for new pictures I seem to have some kind of art block... sorry :dead: |
It just means to take a pen and go over your original pencil lines in ink. I find it makes the lines a lot sharper, which really helps me out (<_>).If you're interested in trying out such a technique, I recommend using Sakura pens. They're kinda expensive, but for me, worth it.:p
But that's really cool that you know two languages! What was your first? I'm trying to learn Spanish myself, but to really get a language, one has to travel to a place where its spoken all the time... |
Some nice dark style art here, not usually a big fan of the style but I must say that the backshot of the Slig and the final pic are both superbly atmospheric.

oh ok xP sometimes I'm really stupid... oh well I do ink my pictures in but only when I think they are worth it and when I'm sure that I don't destroy my picture, because I'm not so experienced in that technique -so I rarely ink my pictures in, but I know what you mean if you do it right it looks really awesome afterwards =D I don't have Sakura pens ...yet -I read about them they seem to be verry good. oh and for the languages, I'm half bosnian, live in germany, hate french, because of my french teacher, and love english... hmmm ever since I know OddworldForums because of the fanfictions here, they're great! I want to write an english OW fanfiction too but I think I still have to learn much so it will take a long time untill i upload it (if I upload it) so I actually know 2 languages well and 2 languages a bit xD ...maybe I will make some kind of comic of my fanfic rather than write it... I dunno :
I doub't that it's really worth it but I uploaded another picture of Lefty, it's old but I like how it turned out though. (probably it doesn't look like a real outlaw... again -.-) Edit: Yesterday I tried to colour it in photoshop and it turned out really really bad xD It's a real shame, just because I was too lazy to do it right and my eyes started to hurt (hehe Spore is not good for your eyes if you play it for too long :fuzcool:) Also I planned to upload another picture but now I changed my mind ~ oh please do not fullview if it's possible :p |
What are you talking about? That colouring is really good! Great work! (And I know what you mean about Spore killing your eyes. Mine are still hurting from earlyer.)
