I'm stuck on D1D01C0, I can get to the ring and call Elum, but I can't get down without getting shot. Any ideas?

If you are talking about Paramonia, you need first to blow up the sleeping slig. Sneak close to the time bomb, crouch, press the time bomb to activate it, stand up, and sneak away from the bomb. Wait a few seconds, and the slig will be killed. But...

Thanks - I'm at work, but I think I got it from the link you gave me. I'm stuck at Scarbania and conceptually I know what to do. We'll see what happens when I get home. Thanks for the help!
