I’m really tired of this. I won the game on 3 March, and the joy of watching everyone else losing has worn thin.

Seriously, I was interested by this seven years ago, but interests fade over the course of a lustrum and a half. I loved this, but now it’s time to move on. We only need return when it becomes retro. I’m hoping that’s a good two years away (incidentally the amount of time that should separate each Christmas).

p.s. Hadn’t meant that to come out so irately, but whatever.

It's what happens when you let a group of drug-taking Japanese Animators who prefer to write a bunch of crazy, introverted stories of despair and madness(GAINAX, the guys who made Neon Genesis Evangelion if you've heard of it), and force them to create a saturday-morning cartoon anime.

It looks better than most mainstream anime. I'll give it shot if I find it. Thanks.

It is very good, yes. It's got a solid rock/orchestra/occasional rap soundtrack, a lot of it entirely instrumental and english, combined with all the WTF moments you ever saw in Power Rangers or Dragonball Z, without the repetition, wonderful, positive characters, And some very pretty, very ridiculous fights.

Plus the main characters' name is Simon. =D

It's really great, seriously, when one of the supporting characters becomes all emo and suicidal, you know what Simon does? He smashes his super robot into the guys' hideout, jumps out, screams "CLENCH YOUR TEETH" and punches him in the face.

If you wanna watch it, Bandai is releasing the subtitled DVD volumes about nowish, or you can wait til September or so when they'll air it on the Sci-Fi channel in English dub. Which is actually pretty good, I hear.

Hmm, I never really cared for what Sci-Fi was broadcasting on their "Animonday." Good english dubs are rare these days though, so I'll definately be watching.
