Ultra Rare - Tomb Raider 2 Beta Demo

This is the beta version of Tomb Raider 2. It includes 3 levels, Titanic (later renamed Wreck of the Maria Doria) Catacombs of Tailon and Bartoli's Hideout.

Actually, Bartoli's Hideout is the only playble level, but to play the other levels is simple:

Click on DATA folder and copy:
3TIBET.dem and 3TIBET.phd for Catacombs of Tailon
TITANIC1.dem and TITANIC.phd for Titanic or if you prefer Wreck of the Maria Doria :D

Copy to "Desktop" and then rename it: VENICE1.dem and VENICE1.phd then copy it to DATA folder, it should ask if you want to replace the files. Click yes and tada!

When you start the game it should ask you for video configuration. Just click OK, and tada again!

I'm trying to find a CD that included one preview of Tomb Raider 1, maybe
tomorow I'll upload.

Oh, I'm forgeting one thing: Cheats!

Type DOZY and Lara will fly and have all weapons. Click Shift to exit fly mode. And she still have the weapons.


P.S: This is a beta. It's buggy. And levels don't have end trigger.

Is this legal?

This one is, but the PSX Full Version beta isn't.

Why?

All I saw of this thread's title was "Ultra Rare - Tomb Raider...", and I thought it was going to be an ultra rare way of enabling the fabled nude cheat.

Can you show some screenshots or something please?

Actually this is a beta, it only includes the famous DOZY cheat. But if you want it: http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Desert/5236/np2.zip. Requires full version of the game, and only patches "The Great Wall".

And you Ghost, because PSX Full Version beta was leaked to the internet without authorization of Eidos.

What exactly are the differences between the normal and beta levels? They look the same to me.

First of all they have all types of bugs and they have no ending trigger.
Then, the glass room on Bartoli's Hideout notice that the glass isn't solid.
On Titanic (Wreck of the Maria Doria) Lara's outfit is difrent from the final version.

Or you could just...y'know...buy it for 99p.

It's a fucking glitchy old demo of a fucking glitchy old game whose main character steers like a taxi.

Who the hell in their right mind would waste bandwidth on that???

What's the point in those levels if they don't have an end trigger? I'd be interested if it had new layout, but otherwise, just sounds lame.
