This is the best Paramite there is PERIOD. Unless I missed a major part that would significantly improve a Paramite, this will be the best there is in a long time.

This doesnt just look like one, it acts like one too.Legs specially selected and placed so it runs like one, the hands mouths and weapons were also specially selected so each finger had the right behavior when you make it growl/scared/etc.

BEWARE! I have some hidden features there, so if you duplicate the paramite I can tell because that stuff will still be there!. I made this with a lot of painstaking tweaking so please dont duplicate.

I've been working on a Mudokon and a Scrab, but the Paramite is the only one I can call done because honestly there's nothing to improve (but the paintjob of course, cant help that part!)

When I'm satisfied with the Scrab I may go with either Shrykull, Skillya or a Slig, after that maybe a Glukkon, Meech or a Vykker...we'll see.

BUT I think you guys would be the best judges, check out my paramite...specially the "angry" emote, and the runcycle. Took me a long while but I think now I've tweaked both the face and the legs to be best suited for both. tried a lot of combinations and i'm happiest with this configuration.

Looks good, although I can only view the one image of it.

I am interested in how you expect to create Skillya, as we’ve never seen a Slig queen.

Not bad.
I've been messin with the creature creator but I have the trial version and can only do a quarter of the things that the real version dose. I still need alot of practice seeing as how all my creatures look autistic.

MAX: dont you have the creature creator? if you do you just go to the paramite's page, and open the "download" link. I know you'll be confused because it's just a thumbnail...not to worry, drag that PNG into the program (or my documents/my spore creations/creatures) ...and you have the creature!

um...does this mean you guys didnt actually see the Paramite in action? that's more than half the fun. I know it looks way too dark but I cant help it. If you want to you can fix it in your pc by pressing CONTROl+SHIT+C and then typing "OptionBakeQuality 1" without quote marks, then pressing enter twice, and applying a new paintjob on the paramite.

There are some files floating around to expand the trial version to around 75% of the actual CreatureCreator, look for the "data" folder of spore creature creator, and copy only the CSA_Graphics.package, CSA_Audio.package and CSA_Audio.package files to replace the ones in your CC data folder..

By Skillya I meant that weird thing in slig pants with a pincer for a face that very often gets called Skillya.

I just found out that by clicking the actions on the right in the CC you can make the creature do attacks...I already gave the mudokon a fart move :p.if I find anything fun for the Paramite to do I'll change it up once more. I have the general shape of the scrab, mudokon, skillya and shrykull done, but they dont feel quite there yet....hmm

I found some eyes that were PERFECT for this one, I'm really happy I can finally see some aproximation of how it'd move and act. Looks vicious =)

SPORE usually handles arms by just doing it from the shoulders, but looking at abe's conceptart I thought it was really key to give him shoulderblades for him to look right, so I made a 3 articulation arm and stuck them at his back, creating his makeshift shoulderblades.


I also discovered the "spitting" aditaments in spore with this one, so I added something that will remind you all of possessing inanimate 'objects' in AE :p

I really like how his face came out, and he kinda sounds like sligs when they were all panicky....KINDA :p

The Scrab and Shrykull are still in the works, they're technically as finished as the Slig or Skillya but they just dont look right.

Any of you doubting about the CreatureCreator...check my last posts...there's a few tips I've recopilated from lurking around the SPORE forums :p...you can get 75% of the real stuff free if you do what I said! and it's amazingly forgiving to old PCs

ARE YOU SURE? My PC aint top of the line either, in fact I dont have a video card...but SPORE CreatureCreator is still amazingly usable. You just might get completely blacked out critters...like I did..but that's probably all!

I'm gonna make a small vid, maybe some gifs and post them... =) thanks for the praise...I practically was modeling over the conceptart at one point!...this took a lot of revisions. a lot. at a point I had a practically perfect paramite but it walked like a moron, now I made a few tweaks and it has that sort of jumpy run...almost perfect =)

yes, yes...I know Xavier, you arent reading my posts I've said many times I know it's not really a Skillya...I had NO IDEA that they were called 1%ers though, that is very interesting! is there any more information about them?

EDIT: for everyone getting the trial...you'll have to look for the data folders and fetch the
CSA_graphics.package CSA_main.package CSA_audio.package...to actually see the critters c.c

LETO: duuude! My PC sucks. I couldnt upload the Youtube video...it just hanged there for a whole day when I did =/ I'll get some screens when the creatures stop looking like walking shadows -_-

Hey guys ^_^ thanks for all the praise again. No I have not tried the Meech....since I can pretty much imagine how it'd move...it doesnt interest me :p I think if I do something again it'll probably be a Glukkon....that'd be a challenge!

That shrykull that got linked from mine has got a mouth from the $10 version....so it makes pretty damn impressive sounds...and moves pretty well. mine looks more like him but I dont like it for some reason :p though, seeing how that's the competition maybe I should just share mine :p.
