Oddworld FMV's
What is/are your favourite FVM(s) in AO or AE and why?
|
I've always loved the Magog on the March videos from AE. The announcer slig and those three Glukkons always crack me up. :)
|
AO: starting FMV and AE: news FMVs.
|
I love the opening to AO and the MO bad ending.
The Depantsing scene and the final FMV in Strangers Wrath are excellence. |
Abe discovering the moon, falling, dying, coming back to life, then going into the Monsaic Lines.
|
What if he gets the boiler?
The boiler? The boiler! |
All of the AO FMVs concerning Abe speaking, the MOM news broadcasts, the AE finale, the MO beginning and the depantsing.
Abe lost half his pull for me when he stopped rhyming. My absolute favorite has to be Abe's Moon, in part because of the excellent rhythm in Lorne's voice but also because of the brilliant change in the music once Bigface appears. |
Since other people are mentioning FMVs from other games, I thought I'd come back and say that my favorite Oddworld FMV EVER is "Under The Knife" from MO. Those Vykkers...there's something about them... I learned that FMV by heart when I was younger, and I'd re-enact it when no one was home...
...That's around the same time that my family started telling me to get out more. HURR. :tard: |
The good ending in MO. Valet Slig is teh sex.
|
Well, Abe's Moon. It touches me.
|
I have to agree with WoF, the rythming realy added to it.
The opening scene is awesome, I saw it first without sound, was inspired, then saw it again with sound, was gobsmacked, was what made me like oddworld so much. :) |
A also loved Abe's rhyming in AO.
All the FMV's in Abe's Oddysee especially Abe's Moon and This is Rupture Farms. Like Abe is Now said..it also touches me. This is Rupture Farms cause it has that creepy music in the begining and it's where it all began for Abe and his buddies. I also like the bad ending of Abe's Exoddus cause I like the way Abe sounds when he's getting shocked. ;) |
For me, I think it's Abe's Moon, because that's the first time in the game where Bigface appears, the first time when Abe see his culture, and obviously, the music.
