Of course not Max, what kinda world do you live in. Why just the other day I caught my dad using the internet, got the broom outta the pantry, and beat him till he learned his lesson.

I tought his parents are a bit old for the net...

Actually it's if my dad was being to old for the internet that it would suck. How old do you think he is? Plenty of "not-young" people use the net over here.

What would suck too was if he was keeping the pc for him all the time, but that isn't a problem as we have 3 pc at home. :p

There's no limit to what age a person can use the internet. :rolleyes: My grandma uses the internet, and she's in her 60s.

Same here, my grandmother is 72 I believe, and uses the 'net for a variety of activities. My father is among many things, a computer engineer, and he is 48.

Personally, I like it when older people use modern stuff just like we do.

Like using a washing machine instead of doing their laundry themself, or using eMails instead of airmails as an example.

My dad's father had a computer for a while, for the occasional word-processing, but he seemed much more interested in playing obscure racing games that use really old cars. It sees little use now.

My maternal grandparents don't have a computer at all, nor do they have any interest in getting one. Before their retirement all their work computing was performed on mechanical gizmos, and they use other people's e-mail addresses when the necessity actually arises. Though my grandmother did eventually get a mobile phone, which she has difficulty using due to both complexity and arthritis, and they have Sky (UK market-dominating satellite TV, Mr Murdoch's).

Nobody cares. Plenty of us have more than 1 pc. Stop trying to show off.

And more than enough 40-60 year olds use the internet... There is nothing wrong with it.
