That's actually pretty good.
Looking at photography for my final exams, and have gone around the school and have been taking photos, looking for shots like these.

Matriar 06-18-2008 06:52 AM

The size of the photos are huge and the boarders could need a few clean-ups, but the actual quality of your photos are really good! Very interesting perspective. Even makes things look especially nice, which you actually see all the time, like these plants and the power supply line (if you call it that).

My favorite photos are the ones with the tree, the grass, and the cat with that "What d'you want...?"-expression. :D

Leto 06-19-2008 12:49 AM

yeah, badly selfscanned. thanks guys. after paying $50 odd to get 3 films developed, totally couldn't be fucked paying even more to get them properly scanned :P

that is my girlfriend's cat, who has an insane, feminist angry-at-the-world personality. I have a few more which I might upload, though aren't as good pictures, show off how fucking pissed she is.

how can someone so angry be called Charlotte you say? no idea. angry angry cat

Oooo, Kitty! *claps* Very nice, very nice indeed!
Ha, we have a doggie called Charlotte :P

Me likes, that cat is legendary.

Nice work! I like grass, tree and cobweb. Also, glowing olive tit is pretty nice.

The nature ones remind me of a Sigur Ros album. Potentially just because I'm listening to Sigur Ros right now, but still.... quality.

Dude you listen to Sigur Ros? fucking ace, just bought their new album a few days ago. listening to Takk or the new one? thems the most autumn/summery ones

Yeah, actually just started getting into them after listening to Gobbledigook. The only albums I have are Takk and Hvarf / Heim, so I was listening to one of those, they're both damn cool so far, though I can't distinguish song from song at this point.

Those two are awesomesauce, top one especially.

73310! I had no idea you did photography. These are beautiful. There's such atmosphere and contrast in some of them. Concrete and small to large and abstract, gritty to clean. Well done! :D

Leto 06-26-2008 01:40 AM

Thanks Gabey, it's a recent hobby actually... came into possesion of a 35mm SLR, and it all fell into place from there. I enojy it but it's mighty spency not being digital :P anyone can do it, which is amazing. You should try :D

if you want links to the rest of their discogprahy, pm me and I hit you up boi. There breakthrough single (Svefn-G-Englar) is mad good shit, gave me chills for like 2 years straight until I memorised every note and harmonic luls

I've dabbled in the past. Maybe I'll post some stuff later. Part of the reason I haven't pursued it seriously is becuase I don't know the first thing when it comes to equipment. I have one of those tiny, normalesque digital cameras that every other teen has. I would love it if I had a camera that would take a picture exactly the way I see it. Colors and all. Sometimes I'll see something really beautiful, but then when I look at it from my memory, it looks way brighter than how I saw it.

I love the cat and the web one.

I espicially love the cat one because of the blurriness of the light around it

cher bro

I love making tiny prints with big borders I have found. if I release an album, these are totally the kinds of things that will be included in the special edition:

I love dem big borders too. ^_^ Reminds me of a watercolor I did this past year.

Leto 07-12-2008 02:14 AM

i like how it's such high grade paper that it looks way overexposed/not exposed to light for long enough. makes it feel really old in your hands and it's like a week old.

you should start a thread if you have a scanner for that kind of shit Gabe, it's not like many people go to this subforum, it's just nice to show off your own things

I used to have a thread a while ago, but maybe I'll create a new one. I don't want shitty drawings resurfacing again.
