Munch on pc?
a friend told me that microsoft are making a pc remake on old and good sold games and i am just thinking...
|
I don't know about that, it's highly unlikely that we'll ever see a release on PC. The game is barely playable on Xbox - the controls would probably suck on PC. That, and I really think there's no point in promoting a game such as MO - especially not to PC gamers that might not have played the first 2 games prior to that.
It's like contaminating a trademark by making a really bad business deal. It's stupid, seeing as there's more to come from Oddworld. |
I believe I have allready made a thread about this...
|
Why not, it would allow a lot of people to finally play it...
I'm all for it. |
I don't think they're ever gonna put it onto the PC but if they did I'd play it.
|
I wish that they would, it would give me a chance to play the bloody game.
By the way, if it is true and they are re-releasing the game on PC, they would probally make some adjustments to it- iron ot the control flaws, fix any glitchs, ect. Nothing extreme, just make the game a little more playable. |
It would be nice if they did. I would certainly buy it.
But seeings as how much Lorne didn't like Munch, and that the public shared the same opinion, I doubt it will ever happen. |
Ironing out flaws would surely involve involve some liaison with the original programmers. I don’t picture that happening. However, a PC release would be a good thing in my books, and I would definitely buy it. :D
|
I'd buy it too...
But I'm not sure it could be improved either... AO and AE could be improved, as they "only" would have to include higher resolution pictures. Shouldn't be too hard to do. |
It would be so much extraordinary, because I've never played SW and MO ( I've no Xbox), and I will be so happy. But I heard something about emulator of Xbox, for PC.

To be honest, there was a lot that brought MO down. The bad graphics and some bugs. A PC release would be a great way to fix them.
