Log out Problem
 

everytime i log out of the forums, i click on the logout button as usual, but when the page loads, it's nothing but a blank white page, and if i come back to the main forum page after hittin the log out button, im not actually logged out, it says im still logged in, and the only way to have me logged out is to delete all the cookies and browsing history.

Im using the latest version of mozilla FireFox

but what if i dont want to stay logged in for the sake of making sure people dont abuse my account?

and instead of just saying "why dont you stay logged in?", you could be a little bit more helpful

Kin37ik, I got the same problem since a while. But it didn't seem to be really bad for me. When I opened Oddworldforums in a new window after loggin out, it was shown that I wasn't online anymore. So getting a blank page isn't such a big problem as long as I do get logged out when I want.
You should check by opening a new winow after loggin out whether you're offline or still online. Let me know whether it's okay.

I've had this problem for ages and Alcar refuses to do anything about it.

For all the haters out there: it is sometimes important to log out, say when I'm using someone else's computer.

For all the people who want to log out: this is a minor issue. You're still logging out, irrespective of whether the page links back to the forums correctly.

Another reason to log out is so that another user can log in using the same PC. But I think me and Alector are the only two here that do that. . . Not that she posts often anyway, though. :P

This blank page glitch was a little odd but a simple fix was to click on the OWF bookmark again after logging out.

Isn't that normal in the workplace, though?
