Buying old games

*EDIT* Wall of text has been seperated, sorry about that. ;)

Hey there, I'm inexperianced with buying over the internet, and my knowlege of games in general is quite shallow. So I've decided, after a bit of searching, to ask here:
I'm interested in several old, but classic (In my opinion) games including AE (PC) and Morrowind (GOTY PC).

I don't have much money at the moment, and have decided that I would like to experiance some classic games before I buy new, expensive games.

I have first tried looking in stores, but these items are often out of stock, but I am planning on making at least one more trip in the future, I've lost for AE however.

Then I tried steam, again, it did not contain the games I want (at the moment anyway).
Lastly, I tried sites like amazon (my parents aren't going to pay through things on Ebay) and I could find them realy cheaply, untill I said I was Australian, then everything gets jacked up to $50-$60 for postage fees. (That may not seem much, but for a 16 year old that works once a week, and is saving up for a car in the mean time, and money for xbox live gold, it is).

Now I'm aware I could just turn my attention to games that are available to me (Like Half life and Halo), but I will still want the games I originally wanted, and I plan to get them eventually anyway.

So I was wondering, are there ways to work around these systems? Are you able to order games from Australia, becuase as far as I've seen, they're all based in America.
Thanks in advance, I'm aware I could search this somewhere, but I don't realy know what to search for.

"NEED ADVICE ON GAME BUYING AND SELLING"

POKEMON

BUY LOW

SELL HIGH

OLD GAMES DON'T MEAN 'CLASSIC' TO RETAILERS UNLESS THEY'RE FFVII OR MEGAMAN LEGENDS.

STEAL FROM FRIENDS AND THEN THEIR GAMES
TELL ME IF YOU FUCK UP
I'LL LAUGH

Sorry, Laser, but that is clearly illegal. If you read the ‘About’ page it even admits to it.

Thanks guys anyway, I took it to ring around all of the shops in my area, actually got a couple of games I wanted, you'd be suprized what games they have in the back of shelves of isocolated stores.

ever heard of 2nd hand? There's GOTYs left right and centre here across the ditch. AE would be a bit harder to find, but I'm sure trademe.co.nz or ebay.com.au would have them, easy. If AUS has Cash Converters, try there.
