More Hint Flies on PC?
 

I watched the Abe's Oddysee Speed Run on YouTube, and it has more hint flies then in my game.

I have the game on both PC and PS, and I don’t remember any hint flies that are in one but not the other. Which, specifically, caught your attention? Link to the videos and tell us at what times you can see them.

The first time I saw Hint Flies that are not in my game was in Monsaic Lines in the part with the Story Stone that tells you the bell song. After that, I always saw Hint flies that are not in my game.

there is only 1 set of hint flies in monsaic lines, the first time you arrive at monsaic lines and find the hint flies, they will tell you that 'you will be back'

There are 2 sets of Hint Flies in my game.

No, my PC version has four sets of hint flies:

• Touch the stone (L1P02C07)
• Find bellsong then possess bells (L1P02C02)
• Leap of faith (L1P05C01)
• You will return (L1P05C04)

p.s. Quickly checking my PlayStation version, the first of these two are absent. They were either added especially for the PC version, or removed from the PlayStation version after Digital Dialects had ported the game to Windows.

Yes,I don't have the ones on L1P02C07 and L1P02C02(mine is the PlayStation version). What do the first 2 say?

I distinctly remember seeing both of them on my old playstation version, the leap of faith bit is for me one of the most memorable moments of the game.

You have a photographic memory? Because there are a lto of screens.

I don't mean all the backgrounds. Just the main details like ledges, levers, sligs, and bombs. This includes hint flies.

I never implied that you meant the backgrounds. It's a lot of screens, so either you have a you have a photographic memory or a fantastic memory.

Unless you just mean that one level.

I know about the Leap Of Faith and the You Will Return ones. I mean the other 2. I have also read and memorized all the hint fly messages in my game.

I just really like Oddworld, and I played Abe's Oddysee alot.

Yeah, there's that screenshot of Monsaic Lines that got about back in the day, with hint flies clearly spelling out "possess" that never appeared in the game.

So what do the PC exclusive hint flies say?

There are more PC exclusive hint flies in Paramonia and Scrabania.

hmm, your right, My playstation version doesnt have the first 2 hint flies, the only 2 hint flies ive found in monsaic lines is Leap Of Faith and You Will Return
