Pirated Abe's Oddysee
Do pirated versions of Abe's Oddysee for PlayStation that were released before the licensed game have theings like paramite stockyards, elum traps, and other things taken out of the final game?
|
I wouldn't know. But that would explain why there's a paramite in the stockyards on the back of the game cover.
|
Um, you must be new to the whole emulation thing.
The pirated version, is just like every other copy. |
how could there be a pirated version on Abe's Oddysee before it even came out? If it was leaked I'm sure that it would've gotten some media attention.
|
it is quite impossible to secure a copy of a game without being licensed before release, even if you were to secure a copy, it would be soo illegal
all companies have very heavy security, and take these measures very seriously when dealing with this kind of issue. but to answer your question, no. no such versions exist, well not any more |
As far as I know, an unfinished version of Abe’s Oddysee was never leaked before its release, unlike Stranger’s Wrath. Even if it were, it wouldn’t necessarily contain any of those things.

I looked in the Paramite Stockyards thread yesterday, and someone named mollck the glukon said he has paramites in the stockyards in his game.

yep,i think your right.
|
I never heard of such a thing...
and I've been following Oddworld for a very long time now. So it would really surprise me if there was an early version of AO that leaked on the net more then 10 years ago. |

It was leaked a few weeks before it's release you could find people on every gaming forum that downloaded it and played it before it was actually released.
|
I think that is impossible...
An early version of Abe's Oddysee, I would like too see Paramite Stockyard. |
