Beyond Good and Evil. :P While being in a completely different universe with different characters, it's just as nicely made and just as atmospheric as AO. You'll like it. Plus it's available for pretty much every console that was around in 2003. :)

Get it off e-bay (search for it on your national e-Bay site if you're not British):

http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/sear...+Good+and+Evil

Or if you're from the UK, you can also find it on Play.com:
http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?sear...d%20and%20Evil

(BTW, shouldn't this topic be in non-Oddworld gaming?)

EDIT: And oh yeah, you can find reviews and stuff for it on GameSpot:
http://uk.gamespot.com/search.html?t...d+Evil&x=0&y=0

EDIT 2: And yes, it's also available for the PC.

I really should play BG&E...

Anyway many people who liked the first two games also liked Heart of Darkness.

mm can you give me link please ?

it seems I can't locate it

Ha, you guys a great; I needed a laugh today. Thanks you.

I began BG&E a while ago, but never got to completing it. What I played was briliant. Controls were a bit off, but I have been spoilt by Nintendo Adventure Games. I forget that most 3rd Person Adventures arn't quite as tight.

Still, I'll get around to completing it.

If I were you, I'd buy Doom Collectors Edition.

Or alternatively, you could pay Id Software to download vanilla Doom from them.
Or you could just illegally download it from a turnip. Whatever floats your boat.

Try the Broken Sword series.

Some of the best gaming moments in my life I've had with that series, it really draws you in.
The first one is still the most popular, you can buy it from ebay stores or look around, its become one of them PC collectors titles so it's still around.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic/Knights of the Old Republic 2, the sith lords.
Really good adventure game, your own charactor develops as you play along with the charactors, your forced to make moral choices along the way that affect the outcome of the game.

Someones already mentioned heart of darkness, that was pretty cool. Although the gore in that freaked me out a little as a kid.. i mean seriously when I first got caught by one of them shadow monsters in the first level the LAST thing I expected to see was the kid get torn to shreads like rubber and eaten... ughhh infact that game has alot of creepy moments in it lol.

Isn't there already a thread for this in Non-Oddworld Gaming?

It’s a popular topic, and it has been moved into NOG in the past. But I’m not against it being here, so I will leave it up to the other mods’ respective discretions.

Great game...

I don't know if you like puzzle games, but if you want a pc game that matches the visual beauty of the oddworld pc games, then I recomend Beyond Atlantis. It's the second game of the Atlantis series, and the only one I've played. You explore the mythologies of the ancient Chinese, Mayans, and medieval Ireland. It's an absolutely beautiful game despite its age.
