Who is Nod?
 

So now we know the names of the heroes to four games to the Quintology. Abe, Munch, Squeek, and Nod. We already think Squeek is going to be an evolved slurg. But what do you think Nod might be? Could he be anouther water creature like Munch or could he be an evolved fuzzel? Or something new and so strange you can't tell it is living. Lanning said we haven't fully explored depths of the strange and bizzar universe of the odd. So I think we are in for a treat!

I dunno, mayby is Nod the slurg, because Squeeq is a the first hero that are "made" so no evolution...

Squeek is not going to be an evolved slurg. no way. OI must have something much more creative than that in mind for the 3rd chapter.

On subject - I think Nod was a rumor. If it wasn't, I can't imagine what it will be.

What about a fleech kinda creature? That would be SO cool.

Tom, Xavier means that Squeek was the first hero that Lorne thought up. Lorne said that in an interview once...

The Evolved Slurg Theory was something someone here came up with as a joke, not to be taken seriously...

What I think about Squeek and Nod(if they're really the next two heros) is that they will be new creatures, previosly unintroduced to Oddworld fans. Munch's race, the Gabbits, weren't in Abe's Oddysee or Exoddus. Who knows what Lorne Lanning and his buddies have cooking up?

I stand by my theory... Squeek is a Slig.

Of all the specific theories I've heard, the Slig one sounds more likely, but I think a new creature is more likely than that.

that would be an interesting plot twist if in a specific ending you find out that squeek is the adult phase of a slurg but you don't know until the end or mabey not.

I think Nod would be like Not Odd, which i would think would be like, not from Oddworld, so some character from the outside that funny looking. Like maybe they made a Human go there or sumtin, but that would make the game weird.

Squeek: Hardly possible to be a slig, since sligs are employed by glukkons.
Nod: Something new, because it was 1, Mudokon, 2, Gabbit, and 3, neither of the first two.
I think it would follow through the pattern.

Maybe Squeek is a Meech? We don't quite know alot about the Meech. Maybe Meeches are a socity of beings as well. Because they look like creatures, they were sloughtered. don't ask? I am just running out of ideas!

Meeches are most certainly not society of 'intelligent' civilised beings. They are huge packs of killers with a taste for Elums.

OWI do not see things in such Black and White, or at least I hope they don't, although come to think of it, we have no evidence that they don't...

Lorne specifically said that there would never be humans on Oddworld. That would completely negate the Odd part of it all.

I can't do that. Information on Squeek and all of the other *ahem* main characters of future games has not been declassified. I'd conveniently disappear off of the face of the planet if I told you.

There's nothing known about Squeek or Nod as yet. I really don't have much to add, as Pilot already beat me to my comments.

General Drippik's signature should have "Self-appointed No spamming club leader" in it.

Back on topic, I think that the idea Squeek is a full grown slurg is a clever idea, it's right in the vein of Odd. Slurgs look like a larval form, so it's a possibility.

Plus, Lorne once said that characters who appear insignificant could emerge as heroes in later games.

I think the idea of a fully grown slurg is cool. *get's it* OH YES! That's why they call him Squeek! *slaps himself over the head* That would be cool. A slurg with fully grown arms, legs and a tail. And when he gets shot he goes, SQUEEK!
