How do I get back?
I am in Scrabania, how will I know when or where to get back to Rupture Farms? is there a dorr or lever or something like that? I'm sure you've guessed by now that I am in Abe's Oddysee. i have gotten all the way to the end before where I have to kill Molluck, but I didn't save enough guys so I had to start over, but now I have saved all 28 on the 1st level and I am up to like 33 guys but I don't recall teir being enough Mudoc's to save? Am I wrong? If so where are they?
Thanks for your help. Signed: Princess |
1. After you go through Scrabania, you go to the Scrabanian Temple. After that, you earn the Scrab tattoo. Then, you either go to Paramonia or back to the Stock Yards with Shrykull power (If you completed Paramonia before Scrabania).
2. There are 99 muds and the game. Look for secret areas in each level. |
See your other topic for Mudokon 101's link to Sinjin's walkthrough. That's the best way to find all the muds and make sure you don't miss any secret areas. There is no way to know from the game itself whether you've saved all the muds -- you have to keep track of it yourself.

Actually there are led-screens in Repture Farms that record your escapees, casualties(dead guys), and the Mudokons left and Repture farms. It goes this way for example

heres a hint: when u get back to rupture farms, look on the screen, if u have rescued 50 and have 49 to go, and then u rescue them all at ruptre farms, ull get perfect and rescue eveyone

yeah, theres no led screens in paramonia and scrabania but it helps wen u get back to rupture farms, i've gotten to the end of the game and found im missing 2 then i had to start over. then i got all the guys and memorized all secrets

im re playing abe oddessy to get all 99 and i just realised how enoying it is when u don't have quick save and the that the actual save puts at their check point

I found that aspect of AO absolutely maddening. I think that I would have just given up with a lesser game -- it's a tribute to the quality of AO that I persevered despite absolutely hating having to do stuff that I had mastered over and over. I really do wonder how that got past testing - time constraints, maybe, which is generally how bugs and other bad features of games make it into finished products.

OW should make upgrades for the pc were u can quick save
