A Strange thing to do with AE
 

I wondered something.
What happen if you save 150 mudokons and you killed the other 150?
I know that's possible because, at Executive Office, you can save infinity mudokon with invincibility, just pass eletric gate and re do all.

Hmmmm... Your computer would explode or get an error message saying (The following is quated by Paramite Surprise if I remember correctly.) "Oddworld Overload!".

I'm gonna try that on the Ps1 AE. I don't think you could get an "Oddworld Overload" on the Ps1. =/

my guess would be that you get the good ending...

If you ask me you get a bad ending.
And I'm pretty sure about that.
Why? Let me explain.
You see, 150 + 150 is 300
Look again 150 + 150
The left number is bad ending and the right number is good ending.
+ is in the middle.
I don't know how to explain easier and I hope you understand. ;)

I think I can explain that better AM and its also what I believe would happen :).

If the counter counted up from 1-300 then at 150 you'll have saved half BUT you'll have saved the negative half, while at 151 you are one Mudokon in to the positive half. Of course this is assuming it counts it that way and not the other.....if it counts in the other way then thats completely reversed.

You need to rescue at least 150 Mudokons to get the good ending, and rescuing 150 Mudokons and killing 150 Mudokons fulfils this requirement. You can test it by using LIJI’s save editor to manually alter the numbers of Mudokons Abe has rescued and killed.

You need to kill about 270 muds to get the evil ending (not done)

so I still guess you get the good ending

Isn't the good ending given by the number of Mudokons you rescue, not kill? And if you save 150 Mudokons, you would just get the good ending.

There is no bonus for killing 150 Mudokons. Only if you kill 270. Like Xavier just said.

I don't remember hearing this... The bad ending is given if you don't rescue 150 Mudokons. Sure, you can kill 150 Mudokons and miss a Mudokon to get the bad ending.

I agree with you. In fact, as you can see in the screenshot here, you must rescue at least 150 Mudokons :D!!!

I don't think so, I think you get the bad bonus if you kill almost all the Mudokons (I don't remember how many exactly). But if you kill 150 Mudokons Abe will say "hi" sadly, so... bad ending!!!

Well, you can imagine the faces on the mudokons when abe arrives.
"Umm, why the hell did we just save this guy, he killed 150 of our brothers?"
