I-Phone

Yo here,

I'm thinking about purchasing I-phone.
I'm asking you if you guys think it is worth it?
And btw I can get NEW ORIGINAL for 150 €,
Cheap huh? So is it worth it?
And 1 more think, can I play all cell-phone games on I-Phone?

They break easily.

goaway66 02-15-2008 01:10 PM

Yep, they break like ice

You can buy simply a phone... Apple's thing are beautiful but as Disgruntled Intern said they are very fragile.

Havoc 02-15-2008 03:16 PM

Buy a decent phone!

I'm waiting until generation two is released.

Just get a cheap reliable phone. I've got this:

http://www.balmacity.com/images/nokia-6820-1.jpg

and not only can it survive over 20 consecutive falls to the ground, it's fucking qwerty. qwerty. cheap as piss on auction sites as it got discontinued.

Nokia are fantastic!!! N95 and N73 are my favourites.

Jordan 02-16-2008 02:23 AM

I wouldn't get one. Just get a nice Sony Ericsson and a good memory card if you like storing stuff, I've never heard of anyone who uses the whole memory on an iPod.

Fuzzle King 02-16-2008 03:51 AM

i wouldnt get one.I think its a rip off here in the U.K,as you can only get it on one mobile operator,O2,it only comes on a 18 month contract and is pretty expensive.
i have a sony erricsson w850i and have had no problems with it and i love it.

Havoc 02-16-2008 04:47 AM

I've stepped from Nokia to Sony Ericson a long time ago. Great phones to be using IMO.

Strike Witch 02-16-2008 05:26 AM

"Ooh, Nokias are real nasty. You have to respect the Japanese. They know the way...of the Samurai."
".......Nokia's from Finland."
"Yes, well....He's a little strange."

AlienMagi 02-16-2008 01:02 PM

LoL, I allready have one nice Sony Ericsson,
but I wan't the best.
I don't matter if I-Phone breaks easily, I just wan't to know if I can play all cell-phone games on I-Phone? (Because I have very good ones I wan't to play all the time...)

Wil 02-16-2008 04:09 PM

If it breaks easily, the iPhone is hardly the best. In fact, it would be a crummy investment. Are flashiness and the name really more important to you than practicality and reliability?

At least it's not as bad as the iRack.

I hear those things cost a ton of money to get and are really unstable. They fall apart as soon as you put things into it.

Leto 02-17-2008 12:03 AM

MadTV sucks.

looney-bin 02-17-2008 01:11 AM

If you buy into Steve Job's Reality Disortion Field, you're pretty much a sucker. Spend your money on a decent phone.

AlienMagi 02-17-2008 10:43 AM

Could someone just answer the god damn question??

Leto 02-17-2008 08:47 PM

I think pretty much everyone has reccomended you get something more stable and value for money. Have you read the above posts?

If however you mean the games, I just quickly looked into the idea of games on the iPhone, and it doesn't look promising.

sreeja 02-17-2008 09:12 PM

iPhone features rich HTML email and Safari — the most advanced web browser ever on a portable device. iPhone automatically syncs bookmarks from your Mac or PC. For convenient searching, Google and Yahoo! are built right in. And iPhone multitasks, so you can make a phone call while emailing a photo or surfing the web over a Wi-Fi connection.

Leto 02-17-2008 11:35 PM

Whoa, either you copied directly from the apple website, or you're a bot.

That's little more like it

Wings of Fire 02-18-2008 06:53 AM

When I bought my phone I got it for £90, the alternative was a visually stunning one for £180 and the features were exactly the same minus a super dooper awesome camera.

I bought the £90 one because I'm not a complete idiot. A phones a phone, get a cheap one and spend the rest of the money on credit.

Jordan 02-18-2008 11:49 PM

So basically you want a phone for games? Get a Sony Ericsson. Most of the highends play basically all games, and you can download them for free at certain sites. Trust me, I suggest you don't get an iPhone.

AlienMagi 02-19-2008 01:58 AM

Allright,
I finnally see and I decided I won't buy it. Thanx guys.

There's no need to close the thread. Just let it die peacefully.

Treat it like you would your grandparents; ignore them until you get a call from the nursing home.

Even then I might pretend I died in a car crash so I don't have to go.

Cruel, but I'm honest.
